I wonder if it works with the Essential mod? Host creates the world as the Fortress Mode, friend joins through Essential and changes their game mode to survival?
this mod is in a way very similar to another mod called mine colonies and it sounds like they would be perfect if combined also i wonder if in the future they would add compatibility with something like immersive enginnering
I love this, but I really wish I could Go into normal survival mode and live among my colonists, build my own house ect. then go back into management mode.
Reminded me of minecomonies (could be a good showcase), I would love to see how they improve the mod, adding structure variations and maybe some win conditions
Thanks for finding this cool mods, with some customization options like diferent skins for the villagers and compatibility with other moded weapons this can be funnier than minecraft legends in no time.
When I first started playing this mod I was a bit confused on what to do because I started in survival. After trying it in creative and getting used to it a bit more, I seriously cannot recommend this mod enough because it is awesome. I also recommend subscribing to this channel if you are reading this comment for the first time because this is by far the best showcase of the mod that exists on RUclips. Thank you, yorkmouse!
I wish this was survival compatible so u could build a city with your villagers and still build and craft while they also do stuff instead of only commanding them to do stuff

I do hope that the combat units improve in their combat skill if they are higher tier (IE the archer staying on the move and the warrior trying to stay out of melee range) but other than that... I was going to say that it'd be great if you could design your own buildings for the job things as well but apparently that is included as well!

i feel like in an alternate timeline this would actuality be a game mode for the game, i mean minecraft was inspired by dwarf fortress, and that game has two game modes, "adventure" and "fortress", i could see having some fun with this were one player plays in "fortress mode" and a bunch of other players in survival mode, and the fortress player has to fight off or kill the survival players, or just one in fortress mode and the others in survival an just chill.
Not sure if I am being dumb but I cannot place more than one building at all, like I built one and it just wont let me do another (i have all the resources for it and everything

I'd be extremely excited if they would add or already added npc factions for you to contend with, especially if styled after various civs, real and fantasy.. Choosing your own civ or being able to customize your people to resemble various civs would be an awesome option too, especially since you really can model your buildings to match already! Definitely a lot of potential

Different dimensions are not on the roadmap, but you can still switch into survival mod and do it yourself
