Hi Chris,Edward from Vermont, I cut wood only for myself, I will be 64 in January, I have learned a lot of things about cutting firewood from your channel that has improved my wood cutting, some small things, some big things, your never to old to learn,Thanks for your inspiring vids on Firewood
I have 1 family that getfiwood from me and they found me thru RUclips. It's even funnier when his daughters 4&5 years old light up and say "thats the guy from the TV " 😂
Nice delivery/video Chris. Snow flurries here this morning, didn’t last long. I’ve been busy winterizing the cabin, boat and lawn mowers. Finished the rustic woodshed a couple of weeks ago. Starting to move about 2 cords of dry firewood from home to the cabin. Finally able to store dry firewood under a roof and out of the weather. That means I’m going to be refilling the pallet drying racks this winter. GNI
Dear friend near Mccoy Army Airfield I been selling Firewood and had been staying busy, so I took your advice an been selling wood an mowing every since glad to see you still youtubeing!
@InTheWoodyard Tes sir I am Actually cutting some ceader an drilling hooks an skinning the small chunks of Ceader not Pine but ,!! I was meaning to ask you what do you generally do if you get Ceader ,Cut, Split, stack, off ground an Repeat!!?? Do you ever keep Ceader for Post or to make something for a friend or relative ? OR WORTH MORE AS FIREWOOD!??
time to start thinking about covering the wood, Woke up this morning and the first snow of the year got the ground white here in central Minnesota and it's heading your way
Holy cats, all the cats. 🤭 Good to check trailer connections. Hooked mine up once. Look at the connections three times. Seemed like something was wrong. Couldn’t figure it out. So the next morning when I was going to leave, I found the trouble. The trailer socket was not all the way down on the ball. Looked sort of alright when looking from the side. But it was not down all the way. I always step back 10 feet or so and look. Pays to check. 👍🏻👍🏻
Awesome video Chris 👍🏻 your hardwork in both the video content and your business doesn’t go unnoticed. One of the verrrry few that doesn’t need his wife or girlfriend in a thumbnail to gain subs… nope just good honest actual information on firewood… I’m sure some would differ tho.. especially if you ask the real “firewood community” from that cheese state. Lol 😂
Nice sale from You Tube. That bin clean up looks like a job for Ann Marie. Please join us today in a virtual celebration of our 20th wedding anniversary.
Hi Chris, enjoy your channel and your advice. Unfortunately a lot of the wood you sell just doesn’t grow here. we have balsam fir,Jack pine Tamarack and poplar. I would love to try burning some red oak or locust but I fear the delivery charge to Gimli Manitoba might be a little much.
I usually always double check my trailer but years ago there was one time that I thought I latched the trailer on and I did not. Luckily, I put the chains on and the first bump I hit it hopped off the ball and was dragging the front tongue on the ground for about, 40 feet which did a little bit of damage to the tongue on the trailer. But it could’ve been a whole lot worse if that trailer just kept going. It is an easy thing to do but double checking makes all the difference.
I agree with you, however, I broke down and got a dump trailer last year. Did four deliveries, and fun and then realized when I dump, a whole lot of wood is removed from my micro wood yard. Damn it scared me....what I need to do is 'keep cutting' or I will run out of wood. LOL Good luck on your decision.
Just wanna say, love the content. I do have a question. Have you ever done a video on maintenance of the saws, like cleaning the filters and other things. Thank you and keep the content coming.
There is alot of coyotes in our area!! They were in the back yard the other night... I also think I have a cat or 3 from your wood yard one is stuck inside my pole shed lol
@InTheWoodyard no no no I'm all good I prefer the cats outside of shed I don't want them inside at all! If only you knew someone that trapped and could make a video of it!
