Thoughfull discussion with youth, great Sahil Adeem, we required these kind of debate in our media to publicize the true vision of Islam.
Humbly I would suggest two books if these young people can spare some time for them. One is Islam and the destiny of Man by Gai Eaton. Hands down it’s a brilliant read.
Second one is Quran , Morality and Critical Reason by Mohammad Shahrur.
First one is easily available online/ store but second one is mostly available as pdf online.
One issue is that some of the tafseers are written in Urdu which is difficult to understand sometimes especially kids who went to English medium schools IMHO. These two books give an overview of the tradition that we have at hand and might generate new appreciation and vigor. Allah knows best.

Make a lot of money or fame? What is satisfaction? How one should treat other humans? What are my rights on others?
Only Creator can define the purpose and can set the rules of life.
Due to his disbelief Hocking was trying to re-invent the wheel. He could not find a True definition of Truth. Because we are not designed to know the truth with our five senses in our four dimensional world.
As a Big Brother guide the youth what you have already learned from your life, which is considered a human contribution, not everyone is a Buddha. Your confidence and clarity of mind is not reflected in your speech. You need to spend some time in Isolation and reconcile what you know and what message you want to spread. May Allah give the knowledge and understanding of His Dean.

@@Livingagain111 The problem is Sahil Sir is giving too much respect to all the students as he is too much down to earth and he deeply understands the true Islamic Philosophy. Now the problem with our youth is If they get even a minute amount of respect from others or get attention more than they actually deserve, they get arrogant spontaneously. This needs to be stopped & believe me it's not easy.

Brother Sahil please do tell youth that there is a lot of misinformation on social media. There are flaws on every sides. But your love for IK can not be hidden. Do not influence their thought process, let them rest their bias to more realistic level.
We are the mainstream and we should decide who can be our inspiration & who should we follow to inject Islam inside our veins too. So, no one can influence anyone's thoughts. This was his prime message to take our intellectual level to extreme par while practicing Islam with influential practicality.
We already have our policy we just need to implement the right Islam. The Islam of our Prophet (P.B.U.H) .
@@honesttalks4149 A valid concern. Quran is protected, Hadith is protected for us. Our approach should be academic, we first go through the basic text and develop a good understanding of the basic principles and then look for new ideas and other theories. Basic text in this case is at least on Tafseer written by a scholar of main stream Islam and one Seerah.

Assalam o alikum. Sir in the current situation of Pakistan it is most difficult to understand who to follow and who to not. Coz as a Muslim I am concerned to follow the one who leads us towards our akhira. Pls guide me and others coz according to most time is coming towards it end. And we have be really concerned about aur emeen. And following any leader who destroys aur akhira is vulnerable. Pls guide us. JazakAllah khairan.
As he suggested in his this video that we should have to work on threee aspects1:knowledge,2: skill, 3 : attribute(character,courage) and to build this we should read seerah and tafseer of quran from three different scholars, first of two scholars of our era and one from the past one and learn arabic language (the most imp thing)

Brother Sahil you mentioned in one of your answers that Battle of Badar was initiated by Prophet PBUH which is a misinterpretation. The following Ayah of Surah Baqarah was revealed on the permission of Jihad. Allah gave conditional permission to Muslims to only fight against these who have imposed a condition of war on you. How our beloved Prophet PBUH could go against Quran?

Brother Sahil, we really want to see taking action yourself before you promote it young minds. Prophet PBUH did the character building in Makkah before allowing them to take action. Our youth need education to differentiate between right and wrong.

Very disappointed to hear that Brother Sahil is discrediting Tazkiyah and emphasized the youth to have global approach. Our beloved Prophet PBUH came to do Tazkiyah of the diverted minds. It is important to bring everyone on the same frequency. what is happening today is nothin. new, history has repeated itself many times. Hajjaj bin Yousaf, yazid and many more. Different Sahaba adopted different approaches to deal with the situations and all were according to Quran and Sunnah. Some rejected openly, some fought, some remain silent.

Unless you have all these 2 number attributes pakistani people wont vote you, period.
The roadmap given by Sahil Adeem is KSA - knowledge, skill & attribute (the Muslim character), this is only possible through true understanding of Quran for which "Seerah" is a prerequisite.
