The truth is, jesus and god, want you to love them, not because they logically and factually exist, but because you have faith in them. Just as you cannot prove with 100% certainly that jesus was just a man,i aswell am faced with the same challenge. I can not nor can any believer, prove that god exists. The truth is to even try such a thing would be an offense to god. And if we step back, outside of ourselves and our own lives. Just for a moment and think abput what kind of god would he be if he forced himself upon us. If the lord proved that he was real what kind of love would he recieve? A selfish love, the kind of love he desires is self giving. What kind of god would he be if he demanded that we believe.? A selfish one. I'm not a dedicated theologian, so I don't know what the consensus is on whether angels can die, but they're definitely not "already dead."
You are correct. Angels are spiritual being while humans are physical and spiritual. The Bible doesn't say humans turn into angels, it's just that the physical body dies and the spirit lives on. Exactly how this happens depends on what you/your denomination believes in.
@CPG I was just giving the Biblical interpretation I was taught by my school and family. I have also read the New Testament three times and the Old Testament once so its also how I've interpreted it. That being said there are literally thousands of ways the Bible's been interpreted and I believe there are many Christian denominations that believe the same as you, so you could very much be correct and I wrong.

You do realize a majority of the world do believe in spiritual beings like gods or angels, right? It's not a matter of 'finding out they're real.' Also please don't mistake science and religion as being opposing ideals, plenty of scientists throughout history (including a large number of the most famous ones) and just as many today are religious.
I'm actually a part of that majority; I'm christian and believe angels and God exist. However, I also believe in keeping science as unbiased and objective as possible. So while I believe in them religiously and personally, I would never say that they exist scientifically. According to science they, for all intents in purposes, don't exist simply because we have no way of measuring or observing them. That doesn't mean they're not there, science just doesn't have the answer. I'm sorry if I came off as condescending of religion because I'm not; I just believe in the separation of the two because I think if you mix them all you do is bias science with your own religion at the cost of scientific accuracy and you end up offending people of other faiths.
Based on the card text I also think the maker intended Coloring to be played during the game. Generally I feel like unless the conditions in which the card should be played are explicitly stated, the maker intended it to be played in the normal course of the game. But honestly, if playing it differently produces a funny result, who cares :V

Granted, it probably would've been discarded by someone under Reverse Time, but still, it *does* say "once drawn, must immediately be played to the centre". So unless there's some rule that prevents cards from being played off the initial draw before the round proper begins, it probably should've been in the center.

I was the one that made Parallel City! So glad that you used it! There are a few thing you could have done to get the most mileage out of it, but that would require longer games. But it didn’t end up mattering in the end so.... Still happy though! As a programmer and math tutor, Stephen’s math knowledge made me cringe....Still funny!
I've watched this video multiple times and only just now realized that Parallel City is a reference to a Pokemon TCG Card of the same name. Although simplified, it has the same Tree/Tall Spire in the center, the Red and Blue at the top and bottom, and the effect of choosing which side it faces. If you want calculated play, then cheering for Stephen is going to be frustrating. How did they misinterpret Summoning Sickness so much? It meant that if Mal(or any other player) plays a card it would take effect on Chaz's turn(or whoever the next player is). They made it take effect the next *round* instead of "the turn after"
With the Dust card, technically nothing that is flipped over should take effect until the end of the game. It is like the Alien Abduction card in Killer Bunnies or Ixidron from Magic the Gathering.

In terms of the Bible, angels are created beings. They don't die or multiply. There will never be any new angels, and the only time angels have lessened in number was when some went to become demons. In terms of doctrine, some denominations believe that the dead who go to heaven become angels. In terms of pop culture, all dogs go to heaven and even they become angels after they die. So, really, whether or not angels are dead depends on how you are defining angels. And this complicates further if you extend the definition to things from other religions that are technically not angels, but which function similarly. Have fun!

Speaking as the son of a Baptist pastor, the idea that you become an angel when you die is simply not accurate. Angels are an entirely different "species," if you will, of spirit from human souls, and never had a corporeal body. So it's not so much that they're dead as it is that they were never biologically alive to begin with. So radioactive fallout would not affect them.

Angels are spiritual beings created to serve the lord, and enteract with his creation. By any human definition of the word they are not dead nor alive. They are simply gods servents.

Speaking as the son of a Baptist pastor, the idea that you become an angel when you die is simply not accurate. Angels are an entirely different "species," if you will, of spirit from human souls, and never had a corporeal body. So it's not so much that they're dead as it is that they were never biologically alive to begin with. So radioactive fallout would not affect them.
