I think its the same clay, just rolled out super thin with a pasta roller or a rolling pin
to me it looks like the fine detailing is done with paper
To me, it looks like cold porcelain clay. With that type of clay, you can indeed make the clothes. I'm pretty sure this person used this type of clay or an equivalent.

I also do this as my hobby, took a year for me to actually learn to sculpt, and another year for learning anatomy. Sculpting clothes is the easiest tho

What kind of clay do you use?
Polymer clay
@@imixwaltine9900 Colored polymer clay that I know has to be baked in order to cure, which seems impossible with thin structures because they would bend under their own weight.
It is ultra light air dry clay

Hello, this is amazing! I'm making figures with polymer clay too, but it doesn't work like one you have, what kind of polymer clay you have? What brand it is?
It's because they use air dry clay, not polymer clay. Not sure what brand it is though ^^;
I think it might be silk clay (air drying)

How do you make the clay stay its shape because sometimes when i try to seal a arm on a shoulder it gets squished and also how do you seal those arm to shoulder perfectly
Dry the clay first on the oven or Dry it by the time until its hard
