lol, wrong "dai" XD Chinese has way too many homophones. Just to clarify even more, this "dai" isn't "to bring", but "to represent/substitute". So when the subs say "bringing pens", she's saying that she was good with penmanship and composing love letters, so the other girls would ask her to write letters for them. (Given how complicated Chinese characters are, it's easy to make them look like crap. XD)
