Good video of a Mule of a Mule doing ranch chores , being well treated, having a job to do, therefore having fun. Excellent, much better than jumping over and around rocks and obstacles risking injury to a Fine Mule
That's a great mule! I've mainly ridden horse! But have ridden mules! Even trained wild ones! Which are totally different than domesticated raised ones! Gated mules are the BEST!!
Just found your channel today and this is like the third video I'm watching. And this question arose: How do you reproduce good mules? Aren't they hybrid and can't have offspring? Are there lines of horses and donkey breed just to produce perfekt mules? How does that work?
Where I live in southern Alberta Canada we don't have many mules. what are good ranch mules worth? A decent Ranch horse here that isn't in a speciality sale is $5000-$10000.
Mules are much stronger than horses, and they're more sure footed. No, they normally can't breed. There have been very rare occasions though that some have. VERY rare.
I know this comment was made longgggg ago, but that’s actually how you do it, it doesn’t hurt at all for the horse/ mule when you pick the hoof like that
Thanks Lex, I don't know anything about mules or donkeys but what I've been seeing here on RUclips has definitely peaked my interest. But I have a deep love for all animals. But for mules, I've always heard they were stubborn and hard to handle. But watching some of these vlogs has shown me that may be their smarter than people give them credit for. A d definitely more sure footed. Hope to see more great videos soon.
I am not absolutely sure, but I believe it is to keep saddle from sliding forward when they are riding downhill (steep inclines). Check out 'extreme mules' or 'extreme mule riding'.
Joanne Ganon it’s a brittchen and it is used to help keep the saddle from sliding because mules typically don’t have any wither, it’s like a breast collar but it goes on the back of the mule and is only used on mules and donkeys. Not all mules/donkeys need them

@@RubenMartinez-my3ri You are right!
@@RubenMartinez-my3ri I have logged many thousands a mile on a mule.
Very nice mule. Too bad I don't have room for anymore. Some people collect pocket knives, I collect mules. Good luck with him.
These mules should be respected they are so good so as horses

Do you have a Jack ? Raise your own mules. Enjoy your videos.
That is a great Mule no wonder you sold him
I'd love to try a mule. We run cows way high in the mountains of Montana allot of terrain like you guy's ride. How much would mule like this cost?
I wish my horse was this good 😂. She threw me off once on a cattle drive and then stepped on me. So I rode with a broken leg 😬
What's the difference between mule personality and horse personality?
I wonder how much he sold for

@Sally beavers mhm, mules and horses can lift their legs really high actually.
Can it wear Sunglasses?
I want him
Brasil l Love yuor 💞💞💞💞💞
How many $$ you whant
Why do you need the strap around his backside, just curious
Keeps the saddle from pulling forward
Rusty McNitt it’s a brittchen sorry for spelling but it helps keep the saddle from sliding because most mules and donkeys don’t have any wither.

@@rustymcnitt5508 they can definitely be more stubborn but the flip side is they are usually more sensible too, they think for themselves.
Is there a reason that he wears a harness on the back end?
He sure is handsome.

Poor baby cow...
Why are you clipping the mule when it's mane is wet , and tacking up while the mule is not dry ? ...
Oh well
...
Brooks Equine 1:55, as he puts it on, you can see the mule is dry......
Let the f*** animal go i hate it wen people do that to them like there is no need to do it just let it go
But we had to get it back to his mom or he would starve.
You are hurting the calf and taking it away from its mom
False😂
Stfu, did you see it’s mom anywhere there? I’m willing to be the calf got separated and they were returning her or doctoring her.
Shut up...geez
You crap to the cat he was taking the cat out and show you what the horse can do
I want him
