When that mare finally gets caught, the owner needs to break her again and use her for endurance racing. I cannot believe the mileage that horse put on her legs over those three days and was still going strong. Incredible!
If this series had done anything, its proven two things Mustangs are hardy as hell And this particular mustang is as hard as they come. That is one magnificent animal.

Ultimately using the resources native animals need (like deer). A lot of people just kill them so that’s why groups like BLM corral them and sell them off to people. It’s to avoid them dying and destroying land around them. Also - this mustang is on a rancher’s land. They need that land for livestock. The owner, T, is probably begging that rancher not to kill her so she can get a chance at life. This mare probably has worms, poor dental health, dehydrated and somewhat starved. These guys are prey animals and will absolutely book it if they feel threatened. Looks can be deceiving. These guys are trying to help her out. She’s not on protected land anymore, her life is not secured.

You need about 3 acres of land per livestock (horse or cow) for them to remain healthy, not overcrowd, and to give the land some time to grow back after being grazed upon. And every animal poops in water? Animals do that, it’s a thing. Also, ranchers depend on their OWN acres and need a Grazing Permit if they want to put their cattle on federal land. The issue of the matter is, is that this horse is on land she isn’t supposed to be on and she is not contained (point proven as she jumps multiple fences). She is owned by T, and she needs to be put on T’s land. Where she is safe, in a controlled environment, and can get the medical care that she needs.
What an intense video. Your horses are incredible. If that Mustang has fought this hard for her freedom, she deserves to keep it. At the very least, she should be caught and sent to a sanctuary so she can continue to live the life she should.

This was a really high quality episode, and by far one of your channels best next to the Burrow roping videos! Don't beat yourselves up about not getting that mustang quite yet. She had some wicked stamina, and seemingly endless energy. I can also tell those fences and gates could use a fixer-upper, given they could be jumped so easily. Your horses looked great as always, and they seem very reliable. Gotta love Broncs and Donks!!!

Don't think you heard him, but the horse is on land where it's pretty much illegal to eat for them (because it's private owned land most likely) It'll be better for the horses health to be captured at least rn. She probably isn't getting the nourishment she needs out there with barely any food.

i am surprised she managed to survive for that long and that the gang manged to find her a year later i am sure her owners will have a lot of work to do to retrain her again after a year in the wild but I'm sure it'll be worth it just to have her back again but geez she's a smart one able to outsmart you guys twice lets hope the third time is the charm

It was clear after the second attempt the horses were spent and it was no use continuing as it would be dark soon. I can’t wait for a part 3. That mustang needs to go into some endurance races. The fact that she ran so far and so fast is so amazing.

You guys were so close to catching that Mustang. I liked your plan to catch her on the first day. Although I would have done one thing differently. I would of had one person on the opposite side of the fence/ the side the horse was not on. That way the horse would hopefully not jump the fence. That person would follow the horse on the other side of the fence, and if the horse did jump over the fence then they could chase her without having to go through a gate first. Witch would save time and distance between them and the horse.

I have several horses of my own, and I am a English writer and I do not think western is the best, but I was very surprised with how great these writers are, and the way they treat their horses. Normally I always say western is like the worst ride but at this point I’d say it’s not that bad so prefer English I know a lot of people like western a lot of people like English depends on what you like but I’m very impressed.

I have several horses of my own, and I am a English writer and I do not think western is the best, but I was very surprised with how great these writers are, and the way they treat their horses. Normally I always say western is like the worst ride but at this point I’d say it’s not that bad so prefer English I know a lot of people like western a lot of people like English depends on what you like but I’m very impressed.
