Just thinking about carving up my Genesis gives me anxiety
should of bent the inner liner up then tac weld it and cut the rest off, sand it down and then spray a coat of rust free paint, then cover it with silicon to protect it. make sure u spray the rust free spray paint in the rivets since your going to daily it. dont want it to rust up
I know, Im not done grinding, I still have some small spots that are still rubbing. Once everything is finalized, I will definitely be sealing it
Travis T I agree with everything that you said, however, if he lives somewhere dry like Southern California, he wouldn't need the rust protection AS MUCH. Other than that, everything you said was completely accurate.

I'm trying to run a 325 tire on the rear in my genesis, do you think a 19x11 +22 with fender flares will look good? Using the duratech brand I think that's what you have

should have kept the inner liner and cut small flaps in them then bend it to meet the outside part you cut and weld it... now with the bare metal exposed it's gonna rust

Is riveting the better way to go? I got the inserts and Alan head screws with mine. Just wondering why you didn't use the ones Clinched sell with their flares. Which way is better, in your opinion?
Definitely not the way to go. Also they do not look like genuine clinched flares. Shit quality.

A lot of people ask that haha, they are on correctly and facing the right direction. You guys will see, at the end I'll be doing an in-depth review of all work, product, ect. On the website the fenders are meant to be this way.

I know u could of got different sized rims and tires that still would give it a bad ads look and wouldn't of had to do any cutting...figured if were smarter than that..
