Once I went in a generic that had that old voice but it didn't just say "exit floor" when it reached the ground floor, it said "floor exit floor" I have no exact clue why it was doing that but anyway
All of the generic stuff can be easily programmed. It is just down to the engineer who set it up to set the messages. Parts of messages can be joined together to make longer messages
3:04: I filmed a cheap Otis gen2 branding itself as express evens BUT when the doors closed or open it would play the Otis 2000 voice but when it arrives at the floor it would play the gen2 voice. Weird?
Haha some of those lifts need to be put out their misery!! The genetic with the shaft on the outside had an interesting choice and sounded like a happy little genetic, almost sung lift going up!
haha, this is how to deal with boring lifts in a lift tour: sending the stick person out of the boundaries to find something better :D by the way - at 2:00 - there were two more lifts around there. Are they similar to the generic one?

Those DMG fixtures are horrible and sickening why the hell did they copied Schindler's FIMXB floor indicator and Hyundai's Type 40 buttons? Btw, Whitbread Lifts was bought by Kone in 1974.
