Exo's vocals really are no joke. Another group whose vocals I think you would appreciate, and that you should check out is SHINee; they're from the same company as Exo and debuted in 2008, and they're almost always listed as one of the groups that sounds best live.
I agree, SHINee is great and very very talented and skilled, and i think a third one that is really up there is TVXQ (all five of them, i don't care that they split xD ), especially Changmin...i mean that guy can hit some high notes and an amazing singer for sure :D I never really liked SM as a company, but they sure know how to find the best singers out there ;)

JYP focus on something like soulful singing and YG focus on unique voice where both doesnt focus on techniques that sometimes cause their singers to ruin their voice for example Bom of 2ne1. Thats why he's perfect for other agency's rather than in SM where technique are more important than other things,

The amount of practice to be able to both imitate what each singer is doing, and to demonstrate how they could make something better... just blows my mind. 3. The crazy thing about EXO is that 1/4 of the original members have left- all of whom are Chinese. No matter how strong they were, or how good their vocals were, they left due to abuse by their label. Luhan, Kris, and Tao all sued SM entertainment and are now leading solo careers. The remaining 9 members are also strong, but for some reason haven’t faced as much difficulty with their label and being overworked. The last remaining Chinese member, Lay Yixing, was given his own personal studio in China after Luhan, Kris Wu, and Tao left the group and sued for their contracts. It’s almost like they don’t want to lose any more extremely talented members than they already have.

I have NO CLUE how many video's I've watched from you reacting to kpop vocals, but each time I find another one I'm just getting more excited to watch them! I really love how you explain everything! The technically parts about how they manage to produce the tones they make, what happens to their vocalchords, if they are having trouble reaching certain notes, ect. The crazy thing about EXO is that 1/4 of the original members have left- all of whom are Chinese. No matter how strong they were, or how good their vocals were, they left due to abuse by their label. Luhan, Kris, and Tao all sued SM entertainment and are now leading solo careers. The remaining 9 members are also strong, but for some reason haven’t faced as much difficulty with their label and being overworked. The last remaining Chinese member, Lay Yixing, was given his own personal studio in China after Luhan, Kris Wu, and Tao left the group and sued for their contracts. It’s almost like they don’t want to lose any more extremely talented members than they already have.

At first I watched because my favorite exo cover is Chen and D.O's The Last time. It's the song that solidified D.O as my bias. I DIDNT expect the vocal coaching along with the reaction. I really love how you explain everything! The technically parts about how they manage to produce the tones they make, what happens to their vocalchords, if they are having trouble reaching certain notes, ect. It is so much more indept than just 'liking it or not'. I love it!

I just watched a couple of videos from Sam, my word it's so refreshing to have a professional giving an unbiased opinion instead of catering to fandoms for views.
