I absolutely agree with the person commenting on the live versions always being better but it needs to be said that this song was recorded in 1994 and _mother_ is still one of the best rock albums ever written in my opinion. And even though I don't really like using superlative adjectives I do think they are one of the best live bands in the world. I've been to many concerts, but they truly stand out. This band gives an energy on stage that electrifies your entire body and their setlists take you on a proper journey - when you leave the venue it literally feels like you've been away travelling and you're now on your way back home; like you've made a whole lot of experiences, fun and sad and overwhelming in the best of ways. It would make me so happy to see you react to some more of their songs and experience a tiny bit of that journey I'm talking about. THE LEAD GUITARIST OF COURSE CAN BE SEEN ON THE X JAPAN MV WHERE HE PLAYS VIOLIN ON THE INTRO OF KURANAI. (MUCH OF HIS CHILDHOOD STUDYING VIOLIN, BOTH PARENTS TOKYO SYMPHONY, I THINK) I BELIEVE HE JOINED X JAPAN. HE ALSO HAS A LOT OF OTHER PROJECTS.
Knew this band from a tv drama 20 odd years ago. Still got no idea why their live performances are always better than cd. Mechanical Dance and Another are two side tracks that like a lot. Whatever song you listen to, go for the the live version with this band. Cheers~
Precious and Wish are also great songs, Live aswell. I think they had more Visual Kei aesthetic during their early Lives even tho the vocalist wasnt as capable as nowadays. The band got spotted by hide of X Japan who liked them and introduced them to Yoshiki who had his own record label Extasy Records and thats how Luna Sea started, Sugizo who is Luna Seas guitarist is playing in X Japan on hides behalf and is also the guitarist in the japanese supergroup The Last Rockstars which includes Sugizo, Yoshiki, Miyavi and Hyde

I only discovered the Japan rock and metal scene maybe 10 years ago and this is one of my favorite tracks. I grew up during the hair band era.

After hearing Nemophila and Maki Oyama cover this song I recently went to see and hear who originally played it and saw this video. This was awesome!
