Castlegate Centre Demolition 10.5.23

In today's update it took a little while before anything was really shifted, plus rain stopped filming once or twice, however good footage of the old staircase being tore out can be seen, as well as the scaffolding removed from the bridge foundation.

I love watching this, thank you. I watched them demolish a load of old buildings near me but they used a ball thing and not machines like this.

These videos are fascinating. It is exciting seeing how Castlegate is getting demolished. How did they know where to begin with it. 🤔

I believe with each new structure they begin at the top and work their way down, leaving the outer edges & walls in order to take those down with particular care so nothing falls outside the fenced off area.
