Thank you. I don't know if I will grow as a business or not. Right now I am growing for health only. I am diagnosed with colon cancer and am on the back side of surgery. When I recover from my ostomy (21 days!!!), I will dive more into this. Right now I am growing in 10x12 trays, with potting soil. I find your videos extremely helpful. I have gone pretty much full bore on eating healthy, organic, as much raw vegetable as possible. I am happy with the tremendous yields I have seen just growing this stuff on my back porch. If I wind up living, you can know I have you (among many others) to thank! :)
Great contents! Could you make a video about cleaning up after harvesting? I’m interested to know what you do with the coco coir with all the roots grown in there.
We are doing a lot of testing right now so that we can share what crops grow at similar rates for mixed grow trays! Excited to share all of the results soon!
I've grown the China rose in my garden before. Took me a couple years but here in Michigan I found it tastes better as a fall radish and they got really big and crisp but grown in spring they did get big but shot to seed right away and were super hot/spicy. Their seed pods were fat and also quite sharp/spicy but so crunchy in salads. Another great video keep them growing up!
We're excited to try out some adult versions of these crops at the new house!! We've never grown a lot of the varieties to maturity, so it should be a lot of fun! Thanks for sharing and your continued support!
I'm just getting my feet wet with microgreens. Just wanted to thank you guys for putting out great content and individual videos addressing different varieties. I respect your grind and admire your commitment!
Thank you so much for the Feedback Rob! We appreciate your support!🙂 Nice helping with the details...good to hear you enjoy the flavor profiles from crop to crop!!🙂
They are an incredible variety to grow!! We like to fill ours to just below the top because we find that in the 1inch deep trays, it retains the water really well. We want the medium to be able to hold water for at least 12 hours so we make sure there is a decent amount of the medium in there. Radish drink a lot of water, especially as they begin to grow really quickly! You don't have to fill it up to the top level, just make sure they don't run out of water! Thanks for the support Daniel!

Thank you so much for the support Steve!! It means a lot to us! I think I could tell the difference, mainly because of the spice levels... As for the flavor, they are all quite similar in that regard.
my compliments on the editing. I'm a video producer and can appreciate the little things. Also great video explanation. My first radish crop was a moldy failure. Hoping this next one goes better. I'm going to be obsessing with checking it often, 3% HP in hand. Is it possible to overuse the HP?
At around 8:00 minutes, you take the brick off and reveal the growth. How on earth do you get so much growth under the weight? Also do you reuse the coco?
We use 1inch deep trays and we fill ours to just below the top of the tray. It doesn't have to be wet for seeding, but you definitely want to wet it after! We like our coco to be a little moist during seeding so that it all sticks together well and the seed sticks to it also. Hope that helps!
Does the weight assist with the roots poking through the tray? Is the amount of weight important or just how long it's weighted? I have trouble with the roots not going through the tray and I end up trying to water the top the entire time.
Thanks showing how much and how often to water. What temperature should the room be for seeds to germinate? I'm in MA and during the winter the house is around 68-72 F.

That’s incredible!! Excited to hear how your first grows turn out!! We have done sooo many taste tests between coco and an organic soil and really even between different organic souls... the verdict... every single soil produces a different flavored crop. Its really quite wild how much it can vary. We love coco because if you get a good coco source, you can easily add in the nutrients you want and get a lot more control over flavor. Definitely experiment with a few options for your medium before committing! Hope that helps!

It's hard to say without getting a lot of details about what medium you are using, you humidity, temperatures, type of water and so on... Generally, if you are watering well and they still have poor germination, it is either too much water or too cold/too hot temperatures. We have a ton of airflow so we use a good amount of water to keep our plants from drying out. If you don't have a lot of airflow, drop the watering schedule a bit and see if that helps.
Hi, First of all, I love your channel! Very informative! Question: I just bought a couple of sets of the microgreen trays (the smaller size green ones you have) and Sango Purple Microgreen Seeds. It seems when you add water to the bottom, you always use the ocean solution mix. On the OS web site it suggests 1 ounce with 1 gal filtered water and apply every 7 to 10 days. Since you use the mix each time, do you reduce the OS amount in the mix from 1 ounce per gallon ? Thanks and I am enjoying your instructional videos.
Hi. If I am growing in a room that gets natural light, but no direct sunlight, during the day, do I also have to put grow lights , and if so, for how many hours?
Great question! We are actually about to start playing around with this more... we haven’t actually tried growing in a room that gets indirect light. You should be able to grow, but they might try to reach for the light, making them a little lankier. I’d try growing a small batch and see how they react to the light given and if they seem to stretch too much, you can try giving a little supplemental light to help them grow stronger! We run our growlights for 17 hours on and 7 hours off. But that is in a completely blacked out grow room. You should be able to get away with much less than that, maybe only 4-6 hours of grow lights needed. Hope that helps Emily! 🤗🌱🌱
