I totally agree with your statement that lots of the items from Threshold and H&H are popular for a time then end up in storage or sold second hand. Also makes me hesitate before purchasing for this reason
I realized last year that I was buying home decor and clothes I wasn't involve with after all. It was solely because of constantly seeing them on Reels or tik Tok. So I became a strong believer in shopping in store and picking items that you love in colors that make you feel good. Anyways, Love your videos!

I think it’s an evolution. As your get your core pieces and your taste refines you start craving quality lasting pieces.
I find that because I don’t need more “stuff”, I am more willing to save and spend more for quality, lasting pieces

Definitely agree, I'm OK with not spending money on this especially after Christmas. I love your honesty and I just knew you weren't going to love it either. It doesn't look like spring. I think hearth and hand had a few items I liked but I'm happy to use what I've already got.

Glad I’m not the only one that didn’t really like the new studio McGee spring collection, it’s very repetitive. I think a lot of the reason the collection doesn’t reflect Shae is because Target has most of the say in what goes into the collections. I’ve been loving thrifting and finding unique pieces on Facebook marketplace instead.
Target having say in the collections defeats the purpose in the collection in my opinion! I’ve been loving finding things on FB and sourcing vintage items from small businesses! Stay tuned for my next videos!

I agree with what you were saying about this years collection. Honestly we just have to be mindful about what we purchase. Of everything you showed I think I only liked the mirror and the wreath. Your baby is adorable 💕

Great comments! The problem I have with the collections is that it is too easy to pick out the items in people’s homes and there then is a certain repetitiveness in design/style. I do like the travertine piece too and really like last year’s marble piece with the rippled sides (not the one that looks like the dog bowl 😂and which I returned). This year’s piece with the framed and dated photo that everyone can have-really-why? Your baby is beautiful like you. ❤️

And I disagree with you my channel is far from negative, this is actually the first type of video that I’ve done like this and what you see as negative is just pure honesty and my viewers love that and ask for MORE of it.
