Yeah, mine doesn't have that notch.
TY! I was looking for my specific model cuz the guides kept saying it was spring loaded
Thank you was very helpful .
I'm 83 yo...got it! Thanks....

Thank you so much I was struggling to get the sim card out
Thanks so much

I found the notch and hear the click, but the back cover is not sliding off.
Wow I feel dumb.... Either way, thank you for the video!!!
Thanh you ! 謝謝你!
HOw do you remove sd card? It's not sliding out? Do I have to go into settings to safely remove it, to protect data?
Mine must be a dud; that 'lever' does nothing when I move it. :(
Wow thanks
I cant seem to find a slit to take the back cover off.
Thanks for posting! It is a very small slit, and you should be able to find it on the side of phone. We're happy to help you at 888-345-5509 and walk you through it if you like. We appreciate you commenting today!
Find Sim card in Sampson phone
three fold phone
It is easy
No its not
Can not t remove back, close up of notch to life back would be very useful, know what to do when i get back off, so frustrating, do not want to break phone.
The amount of cringe
How to put it back in?
What if my SIM card is a nano and is stuck in the phone?
Great question! You will need to use the small lever located on the left of the SIM card to remove it. We show that here at the 1:26 mark for reference. If that doesn't work, please call us at 888-345-5509 so that we can walk you through some additional troubleshooting. We appreciate you posting!
One thing you did not explain: The J3 takes a sim card which is smaller than previous models. And an older sim card simply won't fit into the j3. Found out the hard way after watching numerous videos on how to insert the card. Doesn't work folks. @consumer cellular
Okay but do you just take the sd card out?
You can use your fingernail to pull it out of the slot, Renesmay. Just make sure the phone is off while you do so. Thanks for commenting!
Im only doing this cause i kinda need a new memory card for my 2DS :V
Is sim card a chip????
Same phone but no SIM card support....... Help me place 😭😭
im the 140,000 viewer
thanks 1976 birthday is hardly gramps though the hee
I can't figure out how to unmount my sd card in my settings..... Is it mandatory??
We can help you with that, Amy. From Settings, tap Device maintenance, then tap Storage. Next, tap More options, then Storage settings. Finally, select Portable storage, tap your SD card, and select Unmount. It's a good idea to unmount the card each time to ensure that the files stored there are protected. Thanks for posting!
Is this the j3 2017 edition or the 2016???
Thanks for asking. This is the 2017 edition. If we can answer any other questions you may have about this smartphone, please don't hesitate to call us at 888-345-5509. We hope you have a lovely day!
Consumer Cellular. Me speaker isn't working. Can you help me
WRONG YOU CAN'T CHANGE THE BATTERY AT THE 2017 VERSION LIKE THAT YOU LIARS!!!
honeymoon lyrics it is the j3 2017
I lost the Battery And Crack the screen
a fingernail is not a tool, you should use a tiny screwdriver.
What happens if my dad left to get milk and broke my phone in half
It is easy, but my sd card does not register on the phone, so something is wrong somewhere. Refund time I think.
We're sorry to hear that, Kenneth. If you like, we can work with you over the phone to do some troubleshooting. We're happy to assist you at 888-345-5509. Thanks for posting, and we hope to speak with you soon!

If your want to take out your sim card easily, use an eraser.
Hello ! I also have a Samsung Galaxy J3 2016 phone and I have a problem with the SD card..I used a SD card but it's not working..It says that the SD Card is empty..I have a question if you cand answer me..:If I take a SD Card for Samsung(not an universal SD card) it will work on my phone?Or what can I do to make my SD Card work? Please tell me..
Hi Estera, thanks for your question! The Galaxy J3 can take up to a 128GB Micro SD card. If that's what you're using, the SD card should be readable when placed in the phone. Unmounting it and remounting through the phone settings may resolve this so I recommend starting there. To begin, unmount by opening "Settings" in your apps menu, select device maintenance, select storage, tap the three vertical dots in upper right corner, select storage settings, then tap the triangle with line underneath next to SD card. After that, physically remove and reinstall the SD card. If this doesn't work, please give us a call at 888-345-5509 so we can assist you further. Hope this helps, have a great day!
@@ConsumerCellular Thank you so much for your help, but it doesn t work..I introduced the SD card in the phone and I selected "Mount sd card" and after that it says me that the SD card is empty and..it doesn't activate..doesn't work..maybe that Sd card is not good..What do you think:What SD card should I buy ?A SanDisk,a Samsung or a Kingston SD Card? And what class and size should it be? Pleaaaase answer me again,I urgently need a answer from you..
P.S:Thanks again for your attention and excuse me if I disturb you ! God bless you ! 😊
It sounds as if some additional troubleshooting is needed to resolve this issue. Please feel free to give us a call at 888-345-5509 so that we can walk you through some different settings and options. Thanks for posting, and we look forward to assisting you!
@@ConsumerCellular thank you for answered me ! I understand..but it's a little problem here because I'm from Romania and if I call you it's a little bit expensive and maybe I wouldn't understand all the words..btw,no credit yet😅
Can we just talk here and that you can explain me how I can fix this problem with the SD Card, please?I forgot to tell you that when I mount the SD card,I mounted it a little bit more times..I thought this can be also a problem..Anyway..would you, please, recommend me a good SD Card for my Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016)phone?What should it be to fit at this type of phone? :D
All the best,dear friend !
