Bio:
In 2014 brothers Carter and Kyle Laird joined as the vocalists. Soon after Brian Gosling & Jake Vaccaro joined to complete the line up. ATSF are not only band mates but family. This aspect of family was important when drummer Kyle Clarke underwent multiple brain surgeries for a life-threatening diagnosis called Arteriovenous Malformation which he had been battling since he was a child. The band put all music projects on hold in order to support him. Although this was a difficult period for them all, as of 2016 Kyle made a full recovery. This struggle has created an outlook of thankfulness that has reinforced the friendship and music of the band.
As of August 2018 they released their latest full-length album. The album was mixed, mastered and produced by Doug Meadows of Allspark Studios. They also collaborated on their song "Purgatory" featuring Brook Reeves of Impending Doom. The album focuses on topics such as damaged relationships, addiction, and the immoral habits of our culture. The self-titled album is available on all major streaming services and music sites. On Jan. 12th 2020 the band released their hit song "The Surface" which came to be known as "Hillbillymetal" & "Cobcore" from their distinctive video. Currently the band is working on their new music video in collaboration with The Trenches Media.
The band is continuing to create a sound that relies on heavy technical playing, but at the same time keeping catchy rhythms and choruses at the forefront of their sound. Carter and Kyle Laird are unique in comparison to other double fronted bands as they are biological brothers.

I'm just not a fan of the new style, don't take it personal.. but you fellas are talented musicians and it sounds a hell of a lot better than 99% of the shit out there nowadays. This was revolutionary. I say that because most metalcore/progressive metal band focus so much on bringing energy to the song, that doing the exact OPPOSITE is the most creative way to make a memorable music video. The song is awesome, and the lyrics reflect the video in a symbolic sense.

I saw this video by chance by clicking on the ad thumbnail. When I went to show my friends, it wasn't in my history so I had this mini freakout that I had dreamed the entire video.
This really embodies the feeling of a Monday morning at work. Both the pained scream of a weekend so far away and the sleepiness of having stayed up till 1:00 AM on a Sunday.
Nice to see someone of this skill level emerge from the scene. I'd really like to see someone sustain this quality. Cheers boys 🍻
