Hey Craig!! Wow!! You are an incredible machinist!! I run CNC mills and lathes and do manual work mostly for myself.. We build Ultra High Vaccum chambers and hold very tight tolerances but you make it look easy on a manual machine!! Hats off to you Craig!! You do great work!!
Another impressive demonstration of your machining talents Craig. If it is built with the same attention to detail, and fine tolerances as your Aluminium 26650 Oi mod, I've no doubt it will be one of the best built mods out there.
Thanks I really appreciate that comment, most everything is cnc these days I don't think people realize how long this takes to do manually like I make these, nothing like directly interacting with a machine and the feel of doing it manually seems like its lost these days, its sad really.
I looked at some of the modz online, they are gorgeous! You definitely are an amazing craftsman. I am going to save to try to be able to get one. Amazing!!
Awesome work. Especially by hand. What is the liquid that the wood is in while in the vacuum? ? Water or wood stabilizer or something else?? I'm getting into woodcraft and just learning more about stabilization of wood. Thanks for the video.
@@Craigsdocks thanks. I've been looking at the Cactus Juice. I have another question about your lid. I've read on some sites selling the vacuum chamber that Cactus Juice can be corrosive to the lids sold with them. What are you using for your lid?
Well yes thats correct, that lid was lexan but it spider webbed eventually, look at my other video of me making a Wireless Smartphone Charger I made my own chamber 40 quart stainless pot and a 3/8" thick solid aluminum top with a very thick sight glass
This was cool as hell to see. Thanks for showing us "How it's Made" :] If you made a series mechanical dual battery box, about the size of the noisy cricket v1, I'd def be interested. I use my DNAs to read ohms, I only purchase high end mechanicals, small compact and elegant is my style. Anyways, thanks again for the video. You artist eye of picking which colors and wood knurls to use is quite nice also, I've seen other mods cost $200 that look like plyboard lol nice job.
Thank You, I try to video when I make different things to show how involved it can get, plus these took so long even though I do keep good notes and all precise measurements going back to a video even for myself to look at can remind me just exactly which steps to follow, since there are just hundreds of steps, many of which don't make the cut in these videos, the video of the making of this had hours upon hours of video footage but I cut down to under 15 mins
Wow... & here I thought the other (26650) was impressive?! Stunning work my friend. I mean both, unique... yet offer such a display of your talents & attention to detail. Some absoluckingflutely fine craftsmanship, that's for sure! :) Live long(ER) & vape on! #ABillionLives
Doesn’t matter how many times I watch this this video. Your skill amazes me.
Thanks Tony!
Goes to show you don't need a computerized machine to make something so nice. Very nice work. Subscribed.
Thanks, I appreciate the compliment!
So refreshing to see another craftsman who can make beautiful objects without needing a CNC!
Really amazing process thanks for sharing the process of the creation of those beautiful mods
Thanks I really appreciate that comment and your personal contribution to the vaping community :)

WOW!
Very nice looking mod and video. How many hours does it take from start to finish?
Ummm well to be honest id rather not say, its not because its fast its because its incredibly slow and people might think I was nutty lol
great job man.. i love it
Thanks!
Great video! Are you selling your mods?
very very nice 👍
Sir, do u use cactus juice or other resin?
Usually cactus, sometimes stickfast, both seem same
Please make squonk devices!
Is that a regular mill or a cnc mill
All done on a manual mill, no cnc I am spinning the hand wheels manually to move the table
please make me one sir
