Most people throw them away this guy figures a way to repurpose them and a bunch of losers complain about it. Just admire the skill which you probably lack it takes to make something like this. Plus I'm sure he disposes of them properly after he's done crushing it on the water.

i dont think you know how fishing works, people lose lures and/or fish eat them. The reason for the concern is because traditional soft plastics use PVC which is a non-biodegradable plastic. This means that the PVC stays in the environment and can even start to build up concentration levels over time.

I like that people are aware of the problem but they are probably saying that with a plastic soda bottle in hand and a fridge full of plastic in their kitchen.. one straw is not going to kill us, billions of soda and water bottles and other plastic waste will..
