Hey guys.
In this DCS World Simulator video I'm flying in the Mirage2000 against Sabre in the MiG29 Fulcrum. This is in 2.9 DCS and it looks amazing. Hope you guys enjoy!
I love playing simulators, I started with Arma 3 and then I saw DCS World. I also enjoy War Thunder , Battlefield , Ghost recon, Squad , Rome total war, Microsoft Flight Simulator and more. I also enjoy World War II games including il-2 In DCS World i found all the jets that i wanted to fly in a simulator the F 16 Viper , FA 18 Hornet , F 15 Eagle , A 10 Warthawg , SU 27 , Mig 29 , P 51 , Spitfire , AH 64 Apeche , Heuy and more... And if you will download MODs the options are endless: F 22 Raptor, SU 57 , A 4 Skyhawk , SR 71 Blackbird , Rafale, Gripen and the list goes on.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-Core Processor 3.40 GHz
GPU: Geforce RTX 2080ti
RAM: DDR4 Corsair 3200 MHz 32 GBB (total of 4 sticks so 128 GB in total)

You're a beast in literally every way compared to my flying, but I can say your second Super 530D shot that didn't track well was because you didn't give it any lead. Your launch circle was pointed directly at him instead of being centered on the tiny square that shows the lead that the missile would need. The 530's chance of hitting is highest when the target lead square is centered inside the launch circle.
Yeah, it's not a great missile. Fun video though!
@@davidsmith8997 People keep saying it isn't a good missile, in comparison to an aim-120 it isn't, but given you launch it in the best parameters and within range it legit doesn't miss unless the target goes completely cold early enough or gets behind something. It's one of the smoothest launched missiles in the game.
I'd love to know the history behind that term, "Syrian lead turn". For it to persist like it is, there has to be a memorable incident somewhere that might be worth a video :)
All I've ever found, is that it's rooted in WWII combat. I'm assuming from the RAF and Luftwaffe clashes there.
I believe it started when the Israelis were fighting the Syrians, the Isreali pilots said the Syrian were constantly turning too early when they would merge with them. Pretty self explanatory I suppose lol

@LongShotChannel They really need to implement the MICA missile for the Mirage 2000. The Armee de l'Air has had it since the 90's.
Mika is able to hit a target by shooting to the side like an aim-9x. Its introduction is an imbalance, Mig will have no chance
This mirage is a 2000 C model. Which never used the mica missile, the mirage 2000 5 (which is not in DCS) did though

Fantastic aerial combat Sir LS. Now that we've seen the effort of the Mirage, I'm wondering what or how it should have performed against the Harrier as in during the Falklands conflict. Is it possible for this scenario to be performed? We saw the Mirage back then as a bomber and not so much as a fighter. Of course it was limited to its fuel capacity after having crossed the Atlantic to perform its bomb run and then would have to cross back. I'm wondering ( as an Englishman) whether the Argentinians missed a trick here.

Interesting since the Magic 2 Fox2 in other games (coughWarthunder) literally pulls a ton of Gs to hit targets.

Magic missiles are tricky.. you want to lead and get not too close, AND not too fast. I noticed they perform poorly when shot at high speed

Hello from Edmonton LongShot. I think its time for an F-15E vs F-14B long range, low level strike mission to see who is best. How about SCUD hunting/runway assault, no refueling, some FOX 3 action, to compare fuel consumption, payload, bombing accuracy, range and speed. Ingress low level to target and after bombing, RTB high alt high Mach. Has anyone tested top speed of the F-15E? Could create some excellent content with a series of F-15E vs "all the rest" in the low level, long range strike mission. Stack the Viper, Hornet, Flanker, Harrier (yeah right)... even the F-4. You fly the F-15E with GS in the Tomcat in the same mission and switch for the next mission. Remember, the F-15E was tasked with destroying SCUDs in Desert Storm. End of each mission do an analysis of the two, head to head aircraft. You and Brother GS are really cranking (F-Pole pun?) out superb videos these days. Thank you very much for all the awesome vids. The big minus of this Mirage, it turns out, is the pilot’s oxygen system. He constantly loses consciousness and vision. In the 2nd match, he also lost sight of Mig, and when he went 1 on 1, the pilot switched off. He needs to release Matra, but he presses on the gas, but does not have time to turn away from the R-73
I like the Mirage. And Rafale. Either vs f-16 would make me happy.
