But there's no shortage of things to rant about from rapid inflation that continues to ask the working man to make the most sacrifices while your host doesn't have the highest of hopes for the results of the impending gun control laws. Lewis in the last 5 years starting at the age of 42 I have had a stroke, Lymes Disease, Gran Mal Seizure, Staph infection, tinnitus and I just love your rants!! Thanks for all you do and your perspectives on life!! I am back to 90% and working 50hours per week and so exhausted of this political bullshit on both sides.

Yes, I’m on disability income that isn’t enough to get near through a month. In Canada so at least I don’t have to worry about medical care. Some of the rich people who harp on me for collecting my monthly stipend are unbelievable. Some hint that I could get work at things that are equivalent to being a doorstop. They bitch that their hard earned money is taxed at all and specifically to support the handicapped!

You haven't gotten a raise in 6 YEARS! Tell your bosses that while they go on their vacations, they can take this job and shove it up their asses. 5 or 6 vacations a year! I haven't been on a vacation since 2018. So I would quit that job, if I were you.

I cannot help but wonder if the founding fathers of your country expected the ratio of "filthy, stinkin' rich" and "stupid beyond belief" to reach these ridiculous proportions. Is there a way to save democracy? Your country? The very world we live in? I wonder about that as well.

Lew, I’m listening to an audiobook you might enjoy. All’s Well, by Mona Awad. It’s about a woman who had a career in acting before an accident left her in severe pain. She goes on to teach and direct at a school. It’s hilarious.
The Winter of Our Discontent is, imo, a great book by Steinbeck.

It was hot, weather wise, in Ohio last week. I went to a battery store, well the battery in my garage door opener was dead. In the parking lot, a person is sitting in a BIG SUV with the WINDOW OPEN, A/C (you could hear it) and engine running because he didn’t want to go into the store and wait with their travel companion. the only thing I have to look forward to aside from moving from one crappy apartment complex to yet another crappy apartment complex in late July, for the 4th god damn time in a row, is seeing in theaters tomorrow the 40th anniversary screening of John Carpenter's The Thing. the fact that we continue to get bombarded by poor quality entertainment by woke Hollywood 85% of the time, it should be a privilege to get to see a classic in theaters again, one of the best films ever made by one of the best directors we've ever had. movies like this are meant to be seen in a theater, not on a tiny screen that we continue to waste our brain cells on every single day.

Blimey Lewis if you want discontent you should tour in the UK as I'm part of the RMT union on the railway and were having network strike for the first time in over 30 years as are Government is insane the prime minister is litrally saying People should expect longer working hours for less money, a truly crazy concept when you have the same government giving its self 34% pay raises and a prime minister who has had the lowest hours in the job since the 16th century.
