This video is not shot and edited like my usual projects. It's more of a behind the scenes look at fast forward. And what is it about?
There is very little space in my cabin. Really little. That's why it's very handy if the big machines have wheels to be able to push them where they just don't interfere. Because of the dust, I like to use the circular saw outdoors whenever possible. That's why I didn't integrate it into the workbench, but built a simple, slim, mobile base. This way, even I can move the 35 kg Bosch GTS 10 XC reasonably.
What happened to the Einhell table saw that you could see in some videos? The machine was only borrowed. To be able to cut reasonably straight, I had nevertheless made many things on it myself - the rip fence, several cross cut sleds and jigs. But I couldn't get 90 degrees on the cut edges every time - the results were never the same - unreliable. I would also have had to replace the support surface made of uneven aluminum plates with the disadvantage that my homemade extensions would then no longer have been usable. Furthermore, the machine did not have a proper splitting wedge - the wood got stuck on it and it could not be adjusted anymore... And if a machine is only borrowed, the effort to change it even more is not worth it at some point (after all, I had to undo all the changes). I was honestly glad that I had to return this machine.
For anyone who owns this Einhell or a similar machine and wants to improve it, I can recommend from experience: start by replacing the aluminum plate or at least put a thick, flat screen printing plate over it. Everything else comes after that.

71 cm x 71 cm x 42/57cm with wheels!
Auch wenn wenig Platz ist, denke bitte an deine Gesundheit und benutze beim Hobeln und auch sägen eine Absaugung und trage Atemschutz. Holzstaub kann echt üble Sachen verursachen. Ansonsten gerne abonniert und weiter viel Spaß.
Danke für deinen Hinweis! Luftfilter läuft, FFP2 Maske sieht man kaum, normalerweise trag ich einen richtigen Atemschutz und hoble draußen, wenn es das Wetter zulässt. 😀
