The retro filtering you used on this really made it, and helped kill a little of that stock arturia sound. I do wish someone else would tackle this amazing synth and give us a less Arturia sounding approach.
It’s actually one of Arturia’s best emulations they only struggle to emulate old analog synths, vector synthesis is morphing between wavetable oscillators. DX7 V is also another accurate emulation stop echoing what everybody comments
@@polydata It must be on my speakers that is making it sound different. On my studio monitors the plugin sounds overtly bright. Maybe they updated it and I just never tried it again. I know they did update the Juno, Jupiter, and several others with an updated engine. The Jupiter v4 did sound a lot more like a real synth than it used to. :)
@@BiggoSuave The difference vs the DX and others is this one had analog Curtis filters on it, and that is what the original one missed the mark on. I can tell you from looking at their site it looks like the Arturia has had a facelift at the very least, so maybe the engine was redone too on it. EIther way this sounds better than my memory. :)
Melting Cassette @ 2:58 captures that retro VHS vibe! Great job doing the pitch instability and graininess without external plugins.
Thanks!

thanks! Didn't do any processing though, everything you hear is direct from the plug-in :)
