I bought my 1st Eheim Pick up 45 and I liked the small size of it. I at first put in a horizontal way but eventually I switched to vertical angle cos the small currents won't make the fish scare of the waves.
Thank you very much, I have this unit and tried to find and understand the functionality of the lever located near the water spout ??? It is NOT mentioned in the instructions. You answered my question with your demo. Love the music - the musical background is more international if you don't speak English, well done..... Bravo great job!
It's not loud at all and till now works fine. This small tank is now in a friend's office and the endler guppies are doing well, without a heater. Many guppies are born in this tank with this filter. Thanks for your comments.
hey, i have this product, used it for a couple of hours before i decided to use another filter instead because i thought it was too noisy. that silent filter turned out to be weak trash so i switched back to the eheim one, but now i find that the flow rate is miserably slow, sometimes it just trickles down the outlet instead of having the strong gush like in your video. i've cleaned it in pond water, i don't think i could've installed anything wrongly as it is only a matter of sliding it back into place. the flow increased slightly when i added more water to the tank but after a few hours it's back to the miserable trickle. any ideas what i'm doing wrong or what i can do to fix it?
Just clean the sponge a bit better, if I clean mine just a little they clog up within a few days. Take a bucket with your aquarium water and squeeze the sponge a couple times in it.

thank you, fish people are a big...waterfamily! We are trying to make the best for these creatures, that depend on us .
No offense to the music, but 90% of people probably came to listen to how loud this unit is.

This unit is very quiet. I have one in my bedroom. Very little noise or vibration.

Is this filter shrimpsafe?
160 got strong flow. But not for small tank 😉
Отлично чувак))
Too noisy. Used an Aquael filter before i tried this one. Way much more noisier than my Aquael.
