Look at another air pump this time Nicrew and have to say impressed its quiet but not whisper quiet but the tone of the noise is such not annoying plus the kit you get its defo a winner

Ok the first one i got which had a two pin plug was black rubber the one from amazon 3 pin plug had a vinyl pipe

I'm a big eheim pump fan if I'm honest. Could be useful for a fry tank this. What you should have done is connected it to a sponge filter instead of an airstone as it requires more work.
I have a Nicrew mini hob running alongside with my Tidal in the same tank. It's there just to keep the water circulating. It's tiny but it's a great little filter. It clogs easily though. Needs cleaning weekly

very true i did test it on the homemade and move and seems good i also love eheim i have the 400 but this at half the price had to try so going to do a long term on , will defo get a sponge filter to test
