Great as he was with the Rams, I think it was his time with the Cardinals that cemented his HOF status. Until then he was still seen as a lucky journeyman who had benefited from a pass-first system who would never amount to anything outside of it. And despite having promise in NY he was benched for a young Eli Manning at the first opportunity. Then the Cardinals repeatedly benched him for Leinhart until it was absolutely clear tjat he was the better QB. After that making it back to the Super Bowl proved that his first two runs weren't a fluke. It's alot like Montana's run in KC, Peyton's run with the Broncos, and Brady winning with TB, if a QB can go to another team and win again it's a huge boon to their resume. And not a lot of QBs have been able to do this.

An undrafted player working in a super market went on to win a franchise their first Super Bowl, bring them to a second Super Bowl, bring another team that was always viewed as one of the worst of the worst to their one and only Super Bowl appearance and only lose because defense let them down in the end, win 2 MVP awards, and set numerous records. That is why I believe Kurt Warner is one of the best QBs of all time. He’s top ten minimum imo.

Kurt Warner has and forever will be the most inspirational person I've had the pleasure of cheering for. His humbleness is that of a man I have always strived to be. Thank you for this video. Brings tears to my eyes every time. Kurt is the GOAT in my eyes. Single best 1 year turn around for a man and for the team he joined. I am forever grateful 🙏

He didn't have enough reps... he started only one season in college and didn't have great stats. The NFL doesn't ignore small colleges... Trent Dilfer from Fresno State was taken in the first round. A QB from Long Island University and also Idaho were taken in the 4th round that year. QB's from Tulsa and Howard were selected in the 7th round.

My Son and I were in Canton in 2001 and we went to the Game...Jack Youngblood was on the sidelines watching the Rams play the Dolphins..such a great weekend for us...I was lucky enough to get my Son's Ram helmet signed by YOUNGBLOOD on the left horn and DRYER on the right horn by luck !

Its called the HALL OF FAME...not the hall of stats. There are FEW people that came along and captivated people to want to ROOT for a guy quite like Warner. That story doesn't happen. Usually we see guys like him coming a MILE away....but suddenly, there he was. 2 time MVP's GO to the hall of fame. A guy that led TWO derelict NFL franchises to the SUPER BOWL...GOES to the hall of fame.
A guy that was NFL man of year and led by example GOES to the HALL OF FAME. I understand where Kurt is coming from when he has his reservations but he needs to stop it with that. There is literally NO ONE saying he should not be there...and if there is, that person probably kicks kitten and drown puppies and hates themselves for a living.
Agreed.....if Kurt Warner wasnt in the hall of fame then whats the point of havin 1.....nobody deserves to be there more than him.....the guy had the entire country rootin for him even fans of other teams he beat along the way.....hated the loss cuz im a Titans fan but even when losing you just have tip your hat to the man....Kurt Warner was all heart and thats what made him great.

It was amazing to see where he put the ball, perfectly leading the receivers so they could not only catch the ball but run with it for the maximum yards as well.
Yes agreed on Kurt gift of being able to throw it deep but with touch......he may be the most accurate passer or one of the most accurate ever when it came to anticipation throws.....he was beast at throwin it where his guy was gonna be and thats why the offenses he lead were hard to beat.

Why would he, with his college degree in communications, work stacking shelves in a groceries store? You don't get drafted so you go stacking shelves even though you have a colleague degree which could get you a solid and well paid job? Its like he forgot he has a degree and he went working almost anything just to get some money
It was immediately after the NFL draft when he went undrafted. He still wanted to give pro football a try and worked at the grocery store to pay the bills and also worked as a graduate assistant at his college.
I know this video is put together by the Rams organization but Warner's story is only half told if you leave out his shocking run with Arizona. I love every aspect of this guy, glad he was our quarterback during our golden years.

I never knew this about Kurt, but it's confirmed a lot but a few are, when given the chance ,embrace it and make the most of it, be patient breath and execute anything, lastly when it's your time it's your time and you will know it ,it's just the way the universe is once you put out an energy that's positive and at a high frequency once it comes back around to you and has came back with everyone else's positive energy man it's so massive and great you better make something great out of that
