Oh wow, while I was watching, I kinda assumed you’d have 100k+ subscribers, judging by the quality! xD
Great video, great explanations, great humor (love the cat)!
Yes, please make more videos dissecting Avatar, the Last Airbender! Maybe The Tail of Iroh, Zuko Alone, or even Appa’s Lost Days. I think that you could make good content of any of those

This was an excellent piece. I expected to just enjoy a perspective on ATLA, but it resonated with me. The power outage brought on by a storm produced deadly results. For years I struggled with PTSD every time it rained or even if the sky turned gray. We never did have another power outage, but my mind always associated the incident with the weather. The rapid heartbeat, eyes bugging out, feeling of panic... It's a terrible feeling. I thank God it's behind me.

Thank you so much for sharing! your story resonates with me as much as well. Storms, natural disasters, hurricanes... all can be very traumatizing sometimes. I appreciate you sharing your story and am glad this video was something you were able to connect with! Thank you for your support:)

I started watching this channel when you put out the reaction video to TLOU a month ago, and honestly, I’m so glad you’re steadily growing a community and getting the recognition you deserve! In all your videos, you’re very clear about what you’re talking about and it’s engaging and easy to follow for those who might not be familiar the more complex terms used in the therapist world.
Not only is it super knowledgeable, but the attitude you bring to every video shows you really care about what you talk about, it really piqued my interest within the first few minutes and helped me understand not just the fictional characters I like, but a little of myself as well.
Thanks for sharing the fantastic work and congrats on getting over 2K subscribers!

I'm so so glad that the commentary from these videos has been helpful. I do often get concerned about whether what I'm saying is easily digestible/consumable, so I truly appreciate your affirmations here. Grateful for your support and grateful for this community!!

Hey! I’m an currently studying to be a pediatric occupational therapist, and am debating getting a graduate level minor/certificate in trauma informed care. The evidence both for the use of trauma informed care and many of the criticisms of trauma informed care are very compelling to me. I’d love a video of your two cents addressing some of the criticisms / pros and cons. Looking forward to seeing your platform grow!

That’s so awesome! I think OT’s are such badasses for their work. A video about the pros and cons about trauma informed care sounds really fun actually. Can you please point me to some resources that identify cons of trauma-informed therapy? I’m not familiar with any cons except in the forms of some limitations of our understandings of trauma. Best of luck on your journey!:)
