Asheri has absolutely beautiful outfits! Stunning!
@Neata V thank you. She actually designs her own outfits and has an amazing collection. Check out her line as www.ladybyash.com
@@nguememan I will, thank you for replying! She is very talented! Her outfits are beautiful, and I love the colours!
Great episode, lovely family. I think that the more convenient location sealed the deal for the house they chose. I think every time Asheri appeared, she was wearing a different colourful and beautiful African cotton (?) print - which I loved.
@Robyn Williams thank you. She actually designs her own outfits and has an amazing collection. Check out her line at lwww.ladybyash.com
I am Kenyan, and I find these prices ridiculously high, esp. since the houses are not even fully furnished... Maybe it's coz of the location. Most likely the location is dominated by expatriates, and so they pay premium. They pay for the location. Nairobi has the same dichotomy. Houses located in areas patronized by expatriates are ridiculously expensive. But after you stay in the city for a while and are able to shop around, you find even better offers at ridiculously affordable prices. It would also make more sense - after a while - to just buy a house or build instead of paying those ridiculous rents.
Bah, thats cheap, try australia or new zealand. The finishes look great, real timber floors and doors, the 2nd house for example was ginormous for the price.
This is the reason why I would have picked the 3rd house. Would have saved a lot of money and the husband would have gotten his pool in six months.
I love the 3rd house, cosy. I'm getting agrophobia with the bigger houses shown 😂😂
Gorgeous parents and children! What an exciting move!
I can understand pool can be great in place as Ghana when pool can be used a lot. However I think they make a wise choice as it's about location, location, and location. Long commute to work and need to drive kids to school can be absolute nightmare.
Way to go you two!! Such a joy watching you guys.👍🏾👍🏾
So glad you came back home. 👏🏿👏🏿💯💯
Research is important, especially when moving to a different country, so that you aren't surprised with the pricing and cost of living.
That’s very true we actually visited Ghana for an entire week and scoped out areas for housing, schools for the kids before actually accepting the job and making the move. We wanted to make sure it was the right fit for our family.
That master bedroom is huge
Why is that these HHI episodes RARELY show any realtors who are local nationals? Even in Accra, Ghana...!!!
Kinda sad, no? When HGTV looks to partner with agents in different countries they usually gravitate towards 'like' people. I have seen a few with natives and locals as agents but you're right, they are the minority.
That why they get ripped off. Those houses would not cost that much for a local.
It’s actually sad cause they do have great local realtors but they often choose foreigners and they often market to western audience. The locals will do a great job and actually expose more of the culture.
My exact question
Good to see you Asheri
Wowww, a lindo!
Such a lovely couple 🥰 enjoy being back home. Stay blessed.
PS: how beautiful is Asheri?? 😍
PPS: wud love to know if the house is still working for you guys as a family?
Яка красива пара! Вдалий вибір 🇺🇦
Price point brings out the Banso in Asheri
VERY GOOD EDIT, BUT, CAN YOU DROP THE ADS, PLEASE?...;)
Yeah it’s annoying when trying to watch something
I should visit Accra
south of equator????????
Do they have a Nigeria episode? I'm curious about the prices
They must have one. It’s Nigeria major contributor to the world and I don’t see how they won’t have.
Absolutely the last house!!!
If that's small, then they should see European houses
I live in Africa but rental prices are freaking high
Awesome vid but g how many ads do we have to watch ..1 minute into video and we have 6 ads right off the bat ....this is the kinda shit makes me not watch
Tonye breaks the stereotype that black people can't swim .
20 years is a short time to completely loose your understanding of your own home country.
How to pick your priorities when looking for a house in Africa? pool should be the least of your concerns
We are not originally from Ghana and I believe it’s mentioned in the video that we are from Cameroon and always wanted to move back to Africa and the opportunity presented itself in Ghana. Every single person has their priorities when looking for a house, if pool is the least of your concern that doesn’t make it general for everyone. We enjoy an outdoor lifestyle and having a pool at home is great for the kids and the family.
And they say Africans live in huts😂😂🙊🙊🙊
millions do. these are doctors so they live in gated communities instead. still looks third world out shopping
@@en6278 yeah same way your people live under bridges too. Millions of us live in cities you ignorant prick, if you've never been to any part of Africa kindly STFU.
@@joe_lubinda truth hurts it seems. did I touch a nerve sweetheart? Millions live in huts. facts
@@en6278 the fact is you're conviniently skipping millions of us who don't live in huts. Did I hurt your ego? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂💃💃🏿 Probably stuck in his mum's basement thinking we're villagers he sees on tv. Pathetic.
@@joe_lubinda a basement is still better than your hut
Is the real estate agent French?
3,000 en África?
Yeah crazy right, who would have thought you would be asked to pay that price in Africa 🤦🏾♂️
I don’t like the advertisement
Did they bay a house at that price? Or did they rent it ?...🤔😳😳😳😳
Rent
I keep looking for the skip ad button. Please remove the ads!!!!
3000 usd in Ghana??? wtf, thats like third country. stay in houston , pay less and get more
There's houses here in Africa that are more expensive than the house you live in 😂.
Lol yeah....some are actually more expensive than US..
