My final SF1 predictions before the Semi Final tomorrow night. This is still soooooooo hard to call. I will be in awe of anyone that gets 10/10 here.
But here is my attempt based on today's dress rehearsals - I was in the arena for the first dress rehearsal, and in the press centre for the second.
One country blew everyone away - I explain why.

I think with Ireland it can only go one of two ways - It will demolish the competition and finish top 3 OR Eurovision isn't ready for that kind of creativity and it won't qualify. I hope it's the former - they took a gamble this year and it's unlike ANYTHING else in the competition this year, hell it's unlike anything else from ANY year and I love it!
Eurovision shouldn't be ready for Ireland, because the song is total trash and it's not my personal taste. It is objectively bad.
I guess is personal tastes. For me Ireland and Finland are my toilet breaks in Semi-1 for others are their tops but I really hope all the participants enjoy their time on the stage, that's all it matters cause at the end is which country has the most neighbor or like someone else below said diaspora.

Portugal is incredible!!! Soooo soooo good!!
i think Cyprus is definitely in. I've seen the rehearsal and it was very well received by the crowd in the arena. Plus, no way all three ex-yugos will qualify. I think Slovenia will not go through. And Poland, sadly, did not receive the best of impressions but has diaspora and i get it if they qualify. Australia is out and Portugal will struggle, since there is no jury voting in the semis. Do you know what the story was with Bambie Thug's candle prop during the jury show? That "malfunction" looked so suspicious to me. It screams sabotage.
Ok so I wouldn’t be so concerned - at the first dress rehearsal when the postcard was running bambie already was pointing to a stage director that something wasn’t working with the candles. I think it’s a general issue. And if it didn’t work tonight in the show, then they’d get an option to perform again because that’s down to the stage team and not Bambie’s fault.
@ESC_ChrisM Thank you for responding. That's reassuring, although I don't fully understand how they would accommodate a repeat performance on the live show in this scenario.
So, this afternoon it worked completely fine. We’re good!!!! Ireland is consistently getting the largest reaction from the crowd every single time. It’s a louder reaction than even Croatia in the arena. Something mental is happening

Semi Final 1 has a lot of female solo artists and I feel like there is a risk they will cannibalise eachother's votes.
Some may, indeed, but some performances are bigger than the artist
