I read It’s lonely at the centre of the earth recently because it stuck out in the comic shop. RUclips is the only typa social media I have and just wanted to say thank you because it’s just amazing- and very authentic
Never thought I'd see a proper, talented professional comics artist using one of those little cheap sketchbooks you get from the works for about a quid, brb gonna get over myself and finally crack on with my comic. Thanks for the inspiration
As someone who is older( I'm in my forties) who wants to break into comics by doing webcomics first and then doing independent comics, this was all so helpful and motivational! I've got a lot of inspirations for me wanting to work in comic books( the great Stan Lee is one of them, as people can often forget that even though he had worked in comic books right out of high school since he was a teenager, he didn't really start to become successful and have his breakthrough in comics until he was in his late thirties and forties and then, if I can become successful in comics, perhaps I can likewise be an inspiration to other people like Stan was for me that it's never too late to accomplish your dreams and to be what you want to be). You're one of my inspirations for wanting to work in comics, too! I loved It's Lonely At The Centre Of The Earth! In It's Lonely At The Centre Of The Earth, you said that you like taking refuge in the works of others, so maybe someday I'll be able to work with you on a comic/ graphic novel! That's one of my goals- that if I can manage to create a successful comic book career for myself, to work with talented people that I'm a fan of and that inspire me! Keep up the good work!
Big fan of you standing up mid video to go look for your notebook 😂😂. Love your art and work and truly enjoyed this video, hope more is on the way!! 👍🏻👍🏻
good news, you can make games right now if you really want. you don't need to know programming. there are various tools available. but if the thing you want to make really needs some programming, you could ask someone to do it. and if money is an issue, there are ways to get funding, much like pitching a comic

Honestly that Why Comics? answer was 100%, because that’s exactly why I do comics and not movies

Up the boro! It's great to see sunny Middlesbrough get a mention in a comic!
Comics is like making a movie. It won't make sense without a script.
So close ❤️
Awesome video!

How in the world do you manage rewrites, and different drafts when you write it all out in a notebook like that?
