I played through once with Japanese too, and I gotta say I definitely liked the English version better. Maybe it’s cus I don’t understand Japanese, but the characters were a lot more diverse in English. It was still pretty cool though.

Have not finish this game yet and not liking it so far. The only other Ace Combat game I have played is X: Skies of Deception and I don't remember if there is any at all plot armour so ridiculous or broken, levels is staged and scripted just fine I think. Was there any plot armour this bad before?
