  • I installed a Warn 10,000 winch on the front of my Ford Bronco Wildtrak with Lux package. This CBI Offroad Bumper only weighs 3lbs more than the factory steel modular front bumper and allows full operation of the adaptive cruise control! Ill be installing CBI Offroad rock sliders very soon too.

    I'm sure your feedback to the bumper company will motivate them to make the sensor harness fit the Bronco bumper. Long day, hopefully you'll be filming in your new temperature controlled shop soon??

      DEFINITELY will be filming there from now on. This was actually filmed a couple months when I was home for like 7 days. It’s been a busy year. Ironically i actually filmed a Ford Maverick lift install today at new shop in 72 degree AC SO NICE 😂🙌

    Did you take front end height measurements before installation of winch and bumper? How much did the vehicle drop on the front end with the weight?👍

  • @gods_country_overland
    @gods_country_overland Год назад +1

    Great video as always. Couple things about this. So I @gods_country_overlanding decided to go with the ARB Summit. It handles all the lux as well. First glad I wasn't only one that started in light and ended in the dark. Less sensors and no ADD will make a huge difference as he said on install time. One huge thing I like about this setup over mine is 2 pieces. Not fighting one big unit makes this a very nice setup. Easy winch install and wiring without so much in the way. Also this total unit is about 50lbs light than an ARB if you include the winch on both. CBI makes great quality products. Hope they listen to yiur suggestions on wiring harness.

    @ChaseGentry any consideration of hidden winch mount, why/not? It's made for/by Rough Country, and has a synthetic line. Would you be willing to advise?
    Also, did this installation you did affect your approach angle?

  • @christopherenoch4230
    @christopherenoch4230 Год назад +2

    That is NOT only for adaptive cruise, it's ALSO for Crash Avoidance. That's why it's low and looks forward. That relocation is dangerous for small people/objects.

      I heard that the emergency brake assist is from the rear view mirror portion of the windshield. Does anyone know if that's right?

    Loved the video. After running this bumper in the "low" position, any regrets? I am considering this bumper but I am worried that installing it "low" will negatively affect front ground clearance while rock crawling.

    • @ChaseGentry
      @ChaseGentry  Год назад +1

      No not at all. If you look real close I’ve still been able to make it make contact with the fenders. But not substantially enough to cause damage. So any higher would be an issue. Love the bumper it’s taken a beating

    I have a 2021 Ford Ranger. I added a winch to the front of my truck and relocated my adaptive cruise control also. It now doesn't work properly. Does it need to be recalibrated for the new location and if so any idea on how to do that. It now goes off everytime I hit the brakes. I specifically wanted that option when I bought my truck so I would rather not have to disable it. Any ideas?

    I keep seeing more and more Broncos just plain dead.
    No juice to anything in the Bronco.
    Seems many have to have it towed in and most people don’t know how to get the automatic transmission into neutral so it can be towed.
    How about a video on how to get the boot off so you can put the shifter into neutral when we have no juice. Thought it would be helpful !
