Hi!! can i add people into a interior photo with midjourney without changing the original photo space?
After upscaling, I don't see an option for Light Upscale Redo, Beta, etc... just Make Variations, Web, and a single heart to favorite. I am on a basic subscription. Anything I need to do? Thank you!
if I choose a particular cartoon character, can I use the same cartoon for other pictures too? I mean is it possible to have a same character with 10 different images? Like a build up story?
Your video is so easy to follow. I watched others that had my head spinning! Here is my question, though. I want to primarily join so I can monetize images on Etsy, or upload to Printful for POD. Will the Basic plan give me at least 300 DPI and allow me to resize images instead of just square. Also, would 4 variations of the same prompt be counted as one of my 200 allowed per month? Yes to all of your questions! For 300 dpi though you will have to resize yourself. There are free online "upscaling" programs but photoshop does alright. Best of luck!
Can these techniques be used to add elements (people, cars or trees for instance) to an existing photograph without having MJ alter the core image -adding only the prompted elements? Great video BTW!!
Unfortunately midjourney at the moment can’t keep the original image unaltered. You could use your image and ask it to add scale figures, cars, trees, etc and it might give you a decent perspective and style to work with. Then photoshop those elements into your original drawing

One question: If I have google maps / gps coordinate or at least a DWG map and also an architectural layout, can I make the AI "dress" it up in different versions? Or even better, only choose the outlay of the building's place, tell them how many rooms / square meters you want to do and then make it do different styles of building in the current environment?
Sorry to say it but Midjourney isn't that advanced yet.
I followed all steps and when i write my prompt they asking me to upgrade ! They saying free trial not allowed to DM midjourney bot !!! Any ideas what’s going on

@ 4:04 - 4:06 .... There is only a refresh button next to the search bar on the midjourney channel. I followed all the steps up to this point but it is not giving me an option to see members like it does in your video on the top right next to the refresh button. Not sure why this is the case. So, I am unable to add the bot into my personal channel that I have created. Please advise.

What if I like one of the first 4 variations that come up and I don't want to upscale any of them? How do I download it? Or what if I like all 4 variations and my only options are to upscale it or make more variations? But I want to download all of them?
You can save an image grid by right clicking it and selecting save image. In order to have each image in the 4x4 grid to be its own “singular image” you will have to upscale all four then download them. It first shoots out an image grid to give you options to choose from.

my midjourney page doesnt have that bar with the show member list so im totally stuck, got any idea around this issue..where do i find the BOT?
You can also add the bot to the server by finding its name in the chat flow (the best location for this would be in one of the "newbie" rooms on the Midjourney server) and right-click its name > click profile > then add to the server. Thank you for the great question and for watching the video!
Any way to upload house plans to have it create 3d renderings ?
Not at the moment. It tries its best though haha. It will simply turn then into artwork.
In your own server, are the images you create viewable to the public? Is there a way to create images only you have access to?
Midjourney states that they are public. I could be wrong but the only way people can see them is through your Midjourney account on the Midjourney website.
On the other hand you can subscribe to the pro plan and use the /public or /stealth commands. They will still be visible if you are on a public server on discord but they will be hidden on the Midjourney website 😁👍

When I tried to add the mid journey bought to my server, it says “this requires you to have managed server permission in the server” does anybody know what that means?
You must now have a paid subscription to use Midjourney. It is well worth its cost in my opinion :)
QUESTION: Let’s say I already have a cartoon mascot and I want to insert it into Midjourney to either have a midjourney created background or to create a more realistic version of my cartoon mascot. How would I do that?

Yes, you can do that. Just upload the image you have to Midjourney bot, then copy the link to it (or upload it somewhere else, but just give the link to it) and then say exactly what you want. :)

Hit the variation button for the image you’d like to edit and a dialog box will pop up for you to edit your prompt.

Unfortunately you have to pay to use Midjourney now. I'm sure someone out there has found a way to use their program without paying though...

Unfortunately you can not change the DPI. It is at 72. You can use free online tools to upscale the image or photoshop works great.
I created server but in the chat I dont have /Imagine prompt, why?

Mannn....that's a lotta work just to get to 'square 1'. Then once you do, it's all pretty random.
I think I'll just stick with 'Natural' Intelligence. The results a re a lot better, plus I can focus on what I actually want....instd of having to navigate yet another rabbit-hole/ labyrinth just to gt an image.

Yes, although Midjourney isn’t built for that so it won’t be very accurate. I have a free course coming out next week so make sure to subscribe to see it!
Until then look into using “image urls” in Midjourney, then try using this example…
“/imagine (image url) (what you want to add to the image) -v 5 -iw 2
Of course, delete the parenthesis. This will give Midjourney your render and then give it a heavy image weight and add the stuff you want into it. It’s not very accurate! More for inspiration than anything 😁

Yes! unfortunately you must pay for a Midjourney subscription now. You can not create a server with the Midjourney bot unless you have a subscription.

Midjourney has updated their subscription plan/policy so in order to use the Midjourney bot in a private server or to direct message it you will want to sign up for their subscription plans. It is unfortunate the workaround doesn’t work anymore but it was only a matter of time…😅

You have to download Discord in order to use Midjourney. Think of Midjourney as an AI bot that you chat with using the Discord App 🤣
