You should drop that Crit% node at the bottom right and pick up Empathic Evasion. You'll be able to replace the Gunner Resistance with Stamina regen/sprint efficiency.
Overall, I am a big advocate of stamina regen and sprint efficiency. However, having played this build in havoc 40 I feel my role is very static, I rarely have to block or push. Literally, all i do is manage peril between 75 and 100, burn things and make sure I'm positioned correctly and I am able to dodge occasionally. Thus I took something that helps me stay static longer if I get hit by stray bullets. I also find corruption resistance useful if it's a blight map even if you have a zealot in your group. On the other hand, 5% crit means 5% higher chance I will apply 2 stacks of soulblaze instead of 1
I disagree personally while that node is soild buffing psykers crit % esp for Inferno is where it's at. As crit procs burn stacks. The higher, the faster, the better.
@@J4FSpike ye totally agree with this point. This build is a glass cannon. It's not meant to solo havoc-40 so you rely a bit on your skills to dodge stray melee enemies and on your team to keep the big guys away from you. In return you delete dozens of elites and hundreds of enemies within a few seconds. Pretty good balance if you ask me :D So yeah, max crit means max DPS
Thank you for supporting me, bro! I have a couple more crazy psyker builds in mind that I haven't shown yet, and haven't really seen anyone else uploading yet 👀
I'd like to come across players like that in my Havoc trials. Each of you knows your role and you stick together. I recommend the mods: "I Wanna See" and "Disable Screen Effects" (allows you to limit the sound effect during high peril).
Trust me I know what you mean. You can't make this work with ANY public group. Whenever I come across players like the ones in the video I uploaded I always make sure to talk to them and add them to my friend list. Slowly building a network of "havoc-tuned" players. By the way, thanks for the recommendation. I must admit I've definitely died a few times because peril sound overshadowed the "woosh" sound of a crusher's overhead behind my back :D
This was a random public group. Not a premade. You deal with gunners by playing aggressively and suppressing them. If you watch the video you'll notice I slide from cover to cover while charging my staff. The moment they get flamed they get suppressed for a few seconds which is enough to either get to melee or kill them by fire.
Venting Shriek can apply Soulblaze to enemies within a significant range, specifically up to 30 to 35 meters in a cone-shaped area. This ability can even affect enemies through walls and cover
You almost got the same build i have, but yours has a bit more utility than mine. I am personally annoyed by WS and how it resets your stacks. I prefer to keep them up as long as possible. But popping VS removes them all all for some burst range. Personally I just run lvl 1 base kit sheild, then hold m2 most game, then some m1 for rager stagger. Usually wildfire is enough to just carry the dmg. But can not deny VS's bust dmg. I just prefer more pasive gameplay as much as possible. Especially since WS empowers Imferno to such a massive degree. Also VS is sometimes inconsistent and i prefer some anti-range defence in the form of lvl 1 shield.
Great points, although, I personally prefer to go all the way in one direction so for me most of the times it's either gonna be a 100% support build or a 100% damage build. I sometimes feel that trying to mix a bit of both makes you great at nothing. Regarding Warp Syphon, as long as you kill enough elites with your Venting Shriek you're good. You only really drop your stacks if you have to use VS because you're forced to regen toughness or because you must push a crusher away from you (in that case you trade some DPS temporarily to secure your survival)
@ yea😭😭ive been using a nade spam vet build in aurics and havoc and it works super well but it still feels annoying without a dodge counter and health bar.. i hope fatshark adds em to dt soon lol
@@jasonl9721 I hope they do but if history is any indicator they won't add anything. they give you the basic game systems and rely on people to add the flavor they want, if they can.
Maybe I'm just ass or I'm missint something but this build seems better with electric staff. I do have my electric staff fully min maxed and not my inferno staff so idk
hmm I have another build in mind for electric staff that could work pretty well in havoc-40. I should record some footage and upload it soon, I guess :) Overall, I still think purgatus will make your team's life easier than surge staff tho

Great gameplay, good insight into the game mode and fleshed out commentary. Kudos, keep up the good work.

I adore your videos! Great game play!
thanks!
Subbed within, like, the first 30 seconds!
Thanks, King! May the Emperor protect you

i didn't watch the whole vdo. how do you deal with gunner? is this your premade squad?
This was a random public group. Not a premade.

How far does the Venting Shriek require for it to apply Soulblaze on enemies?

what is a buble? (new where)
the spherical dome that psykers cast on the ground to protect the team from ranged fire
8:49 that exact same thing happened to me once 😂 I was able to jump and clear the gap
My psyker skipped the physical exercise classes to go play with the warp haha 😂

wish i was on pc .. it feels so off using the inferno staff on console without being able to see any health bars or anything at all
True, PC users have a clear edge. I dont know how i'd be able to do a lot of stuff if I was playing with a controller

what are the skills required to run this build
3:07
Hey, if you mean what build i play, then yes, check 3:07 timestamp.
Based
thank you, king!
My boy keeps quelling instead of using the skill, which would increase the dps drastically. 😂
Drop the build
Check video at 3:07 😉
Это 40 уровень ? Я тоже когда играю на 1-10 уровнях позволяю себе разное говно :))
I always try to join level 40 public groups. If there is no level 40 available, then I join level 39. I never play 1-10, lol
