The thing I have seen over the last two years of the Sitake era is the ability to ice a close game with a super solid rushing game in the last four or five minutes. Maybe it's all Tyler Allgeir, but I have to think that there is something more to it, maybe it's team culture, something in the scheme, a bigass O-line... Whatever it is, these last two years they have done a great job closing games. Here's a perfect example in this game, 5 minutes to go, one possession game, and they just grind out a few first downs until the clock dies. Great way to close out.
I was at this game. It was a weird game. The byu defense made Timmy Mclane look like the second coming of Michael Vick.
