Great video Kane! I've actually been sourcing items to do something similar next year. Be mindful to drain that system out in autumn before the frosts. Looks great. Danny

@@AlbanAllotment wouldn't want it freezing up . Just bring the hose in, in winter. Ps those metal clips are called jubilee clips aha I shall be messaging you now about the fitments. They look better than what I sourced. Great video kane! Danny.

Thank youuuu! Yes any questions feel free to ask. I thought they were called Jubilee clips but because of the recent jubilee I wasn't sure I was just making that up in my head so I didn't say it lol 😂

Great video, would be interesting to know how long it would take to empty the entire waterbutt once the system is on.

I tried to do the same thing, but my allotment is council run, and after an inspection I was told it wasn't allowed and had to remove it! I hope you're allowed to keep yours!

Actually your video kicked me up the butt to sort ours out, I've been meaning to get it done for such a long time but I always found an excuse for something else to do! Such a shame you can't keep yours, it was working perfectly as well. We're not allowed hoses either but I'm not sure whether that extends to irrigation from our own water, hopefully not! It's quite obvious too so there's no hiding it 😬

@@AlbanAllotment I think I'll have to get that gadget for making the holes in the pipe so I can do the drip irrigation for my home garden!
