- The 80s cult classic, Nike Terminator, recently released in collaboration with Comme des Garçons Homme Plus in three simple colourways. Today, I'm reviewing my favourite of the three, the "White / Black" pair. Thanks for the review. I copped today at 50% off on Dover Street Market....was waiting for the price drop and was stoked to grab these for under a Jordan 1 retail, even at a size 5! Went straight to your vid to take a closer look! I'm trying to diversify my collection, and I loved what you said about these being something a bit more "rare to see on the streets." Exactly my vibe. I'm stoked to check out the materials for myself when they arrive!

I have about 20 pairs of Terminators and they're definitely my favorite silhouette. All my pairs are from 2004-2010 and I think they fit slightly roomy. Not roomy enough where I would go down half a size. I have a pair a half size down and they definitely fit snug. Had to use a shoe stretcher to have room for my feet to breathe lol. I have normal width feet. Have not bought any of the "newer" Terminators since I already have the Georgetown from 04 and the Black & White from 09. I might pick up the CDG Navy if the price drops closer to a GR Terminator 😅.
Maaan all them uploads."For the Culture" let some of us foos see them jawns. I LOVE the terminator and vandal models as some unsung heros from them basketball kicks from Nike. It's funny to me the Vandal was in terminator the film. As well as back to the future.
I love the low profile of the vandal and terminator midsoles. I own the diadora mi basket. I think I fully sized down in em.

You a true Sneakerhead, The Terminator is my second favorite silouette to the Vandal and is on my Rushmore of Nike sneakers that had stood the test of time and transitioned from a basketball shoe to a casual shoe. The Blazer 77, AF1, Dunk, Vandal, Court Force and Terminator. I only leave out the AJ1 because throughout the decades it wasn’t readily available.
I respectfully disagree with the sizing advice. It fits more like a dunk than an AF1. I went TTS and they fit perfect. A half size down (like with AF1’s) would make then a bit too tight. Also getting in these CDG x Nike Terminator are a hassle, untying laces a few rows before you can slide your foot in. Stay TTS would be mine advice. Great deal btw now on GOAT. Got mine in navy for $150. Love them, premium quality materials all around. Comparable to the smooth leather on the Dunk x Ambush 👌

Terminator is like a fusion of AF1 and Blazer
I'm waiting for Nike to release this colorway in the lows. The quality and comfort blow Dunks out of the water.

Thanks for the video! Just got mine on foot today and for me, TTS fits perfectly. I also wear size 10 in all my Jordan 1s, (HI, mid, lows) and although some videos said the reissued Terminators ran a little big, I got the CDGs in a 10 and they fit perfect. I measured the CDGs to my 1s and they are just a hair longer than the 1s but I think bc the CDGs have more padding in the ankle and tongue area, they feel more fitted. Although kind of a lazy collab IMO, the materials are sooooo much nicer than even most of my 1s.
Thanks for the info re. Sizing mate. I have been eyeing these for a while now, and am unsure whether I should go TTS or .5 down. Sean is the only one who is definitively .5 down, but most reviewers are abit wishy-washy.
I find it slightly amusing that the Terminator Hi reissues in the early 2000's were generally scorned on by all. I happened to be working in a Size! outlet, copped a pair of the original colour way and rocked them, however, you just couldn't give that trainer away.
Dover Street Market has the CDG Terminators for $117.50. All three colorways! Coin savers go bless yourselves. I got the black pair on the way!

Love the look of this shoe, but hate the obnoxious branding on the heel. These would've been 🔥 with an air sole unit, or at least a comfy insole to make them bearable to walk in for extended lengths of time.
Elevating the materials goes a long way.

CDG collabs are usually very lazy (B&W version of the shoe) and rely mostly in the brand name.
This collab has better leather then the normal ones

CDG is known to be a LAME collab, didn't even bother to alter the design a bit 😡 I'm really thinking that NIKE just paid CDG to use the logo and not the designer designing the shoe. Othe Japan collbs are way better like, Human Made, Ambush and Sacai
