I been running a Oakenbow build that did fine running Swamp Raider/Scavenging Maw. I have Ashen Grip, Red Mountain , Defiler , Way of Fire, etc my bank is full of NB sets . With one bar I’m always changing skills based on situation when it’s not necessary with 2 Bar. Scavenging Demise has good crit stats. I paired that with Orders Wrath and buffed my crit and spell to 55% and crit dmg at cap 125%. I give up 600 wpn damage on poison ie all bow damage ability not using Swamp Raider. but I’m gonna throw another bloody thirsty trait on my Ring of the wild Hunt to compensate. I don’t use major breach mainly because it’s impossible to maintain target acquisition in Cyrodiil Zerg fests. This is on console where targeting sucks lol. I like the Scav Maw because sometimes it procs instantly and instantly kills people. With high crit that’s 3 procs chances in Poison injection. Great video but you builders are why my bank is always empty 😂👍🏻
When I get bow ganked or when I’m fighting in cyrodil and see someone spamming bow snips n hiding in the back round this is exactly what I imagined they sound like
If you want to juice out more damage for Silver Shards, unmorph it so the Deadly Aim CP effects it. The base ability "Silver Bolts" is single target, Silver Shards is AOE. Since this is a one shot build, I doubt you really need the aoe damage.
Sweet build! This is actually pretty similar to mine Ive been using for about a year now. But instead of the fire set I use plaguebreak for the long ranged explosions and silver shards after activating flawless dawn breaker with evil hunter active (for the 300 weapon damage and the 20% damage increase to fighters guild abilities) Absolutely melts when defending keeps against pug zerglings, especially with a couple bloodthirsty traits. Shards is super underrated imo and capable of hitting 6+ players at once. Don't forget Biting Aura cp to increase Silver Shard damage since it's considered an AOE.

I was running Stygian's & Swamp Raider's, a mythic ring (varied by situation), and one piece of Slimecraw. It worked _okay,_ but only on NPCs. I could easily kill a Dremora in Imp City (for example) with just one opener. But this setup never did much to players; it was kind of a lame. I switched to this build, and the difference is like night and day! Players are actually dying, _in droves!_ And now, with one opener, an extra Heavy+FA and one Impale, even elite mobs get deleted. _Way more dmg_ than I was getting with the previous potato-build. I don't have the Psijic line leveled up yet, so I'm using Piercing Mark and Focused Aim (baked in a Heavy Attack); works great! Enjoying BGs for the 1st time in a long while! Thank you!
Change 2 things to get more dmg. 1. replace untamed aggression againt wrathful strikes and the 2. some is more importent, don't morph to silver shards (counts some AE-dmg), let the skill unmorph't, then is't a single-dmg-skill and the cp: deadly aim and master-at-arms work on it...

Tried out the build, only 700 cp and dont have much gold so all my jewelry is still blue and not infused. Killed a DC name PBJ a few times and he started raging at me. 10/10
So I copied the build but went mag spec and swapped skills around a little. Back bar running potentates, with siphoning attacks in place of evil hunter for stam sustain, snipe in place of silver shards. Open with snipe for major breach, then crushing wep into light attack and it smacks
Of my 9 toons, the highest my health goes is 28k on my healers. Everything else is between 20k-25k. In the current state of the game you basically have two options, high damage but can be killed easy if you're focused, or mediocre damage with high survivability, but you're not getting multi kills consistently without procs and/or VD on the second. I'll take dying more often but killing more often over dying less and killing less.

0:15 what about people with base 73k plus a bonus upwards of like 50k hp on top of beyond maxed out armor by like i twas i think 5 to 10k AND base dmg mitigation of 43% dmg mit AND a bonus 15% for both aoe dmg and dot dmg AND undeath and pains refugee with fire resit nulifying the bonus fire dmg taken? oh and did i forgot to add it uses both cutting defense and spiked bone shield ;D
ok just got my first 100 CP....can u break down the guide and show which points i should assign first? say first 100 points in each tree then 200 etc :)...so confusing for new players :( Thanks in advance!
Archer's set from dsa is superior (by a lot) to order's wrath. You would probably hit crit mult cap on khajiit, but on any other race this set is golden.
Damn I'm gunna try this out, just getting back to eso after a break and maybe thinking of starting a new main, before i was a stamsorc werewolf build and it shredded hard, but im sure it's pretty useless by this point... nice video, good quality, awesome montage, great vocal presence and well edited. Good thing about focused aim - you can pair it with crushing weapon and have a nice burst from 2 skills landing at the same time. But tell me, how do you deal with good mag sorcs? They can easily outtank direct damage, cursing, hitting hard and streaking through you in the process. They're my ass pain when I play my mag blade, that's why I ask 😅
There is zero reason if your a career bow ganker like me who has played nothing but this class for over 3 years to run anything other than Oakensoul absolutely zero reason. While you waste time on the backbar continuously buffing your already dead. DW kills even faster than one bar. It’s full on damage or nothing on a Nightblade. You’re not a fighter, you’re an assassin. The objective is to kill your target before they can even react. Beyond that it’s cherry picking from keep walls.

This seems like it could be interesting but I got 1 question, in the blue CP why are you going Untamed Agression? Wrathful strikes dose the same thing, but you get a lot more out of it.
Wrathful buffs damaging abilities, but Untamed will buff everything. Procs, heals, etc. I’ve recently swapped to it, I feel overall it does better for my Templar. My two cents clearly lol
im pretty sure im shouting into the void, but i am currently trying this build out with my first character ive ever created. Will Tarnished Nightmare + Order's Wrath go beyond crit cap? and what are your thoughts on penetration? does it lack sometimes? or should i not worry about it with Tarnished resist debuff?

its better to just build for whatever has the highest damage tooltips. Poison builds would not be able to one-shot, it would be a slow burn on being able to gank someone.
Really nice build, have you tried caluurion instead of way of fire? Since the cloak is used for the combo, the light attack should be a guaranteed crit
What do you think about using your sets but replacing way of fire set with red mountain or innate axiom for a oakensoul dualwield build with incap, relentless focus, killer's blade, surprise attack, piercing mark, cloak skills?
@@rares-liviupopa5767 yea. for a melee spec, i would use Red mountain and flame blossom. all the skills are ok except for relentless and surprise attack. you should swap those to the mag morphs because they are objectively better for ganking.
Any reason you chose Rally over Forward Momentum? I can understand the ending heal is nice, but if the idea’s not to get hit anyway, I’d think doubling the duration would me more worthwhile.

I'd like to see montages of battlegrounds and non CP pvp, because it makes no sense when people say hey I can 1 hit people with this build and they go to CP Cyrodiil and record there.
i was just thinking, would it boost ur attack a lot more if u replace something for weapon expert sins u use a lot heavy and light attacks? just a thought that came to my mind what u think? and if replace something then what should it be?
Nice mate but i dont understand why u are using evil hunter? Its only buff silver shards damage for 22% for only 5 sec but cost over 5000 stamina for that.. Better to use silver shards 2 times more with that stamina cost or? I dont see any sense to use this skill sorry mate if i dont understand something 🤔
i got orders wrath all medium and fire bow and yewls, maybe issue is pen is below 4k but doesn't seem to perform better then my previous build, poison swamp rider melee range i just get crushed easy so no point even trying to pick up any1 melee skills crushing weapon only psy order skill i have, sins i am always ranged i don't need it, also 4sec cc immunity is pointless, i cant deal with so many things so i need buff that lasts 15sec-30sec, just like sorcs shield (Ward) became garbage when it became 4sec duration buff
I find with my NB its better to go stage 2 vamp as undeath is pointless as if your found your dead end of so might as well save the skill cost stage 3 does, and I use magicka regen food to give me more stealth
I used to always run stage 2 on my gank builds too because I though I could get more sustain. In Practice, it Turns out that 30% damage mitigation Goes INCREDIBLY Hard at low health and means i can actually get away from people and not die in 1 hit, if i fail my combo. the sustain penalty is not even close to the 30% damage mitigation that you get at stage 3. but if you find that stage 2 works for you, then by all means stay at stage 2. as long as you are a vampire on this build, you are good.👍
@@epic-buttkkr yeah i get what your saying mate i just find vamp 2 more effective for me especially with all the stuns now available and with me running bloodthirsty i tend to pick the less than %90 health enemies kill them then get out of there lol :0) i prefer the sustain than surviiveability as it brings in more kills both work either way
Instead of order wrath maybe archers mind will give you like 8% all time and 24% (from inv/sneak) crit dmg instead of only 8, and u might use another mundus? Nice video btw.
@allen1bbb is light armor, and fire is heavy, so I don't think you could push damage with it (since fire is mandatory for this build). I was looking for an alternative.
Vegan bow is incredibly mid. I would not recommend. I could work without markyn, but you would loose some of the builds value. Wild hunt is an alternative mythic. If you have no mythics, go full balorgh for your monster set.
also like u said i half to use crushing weapon fast after bushing crouch button, but by then enemy sees me brakes my stealth and kills me cause they drain my magica/stamina with 2-3 light attacks, i have no clue how others can fight them melee cause there is no defense against that drain, what i have seen is so weird it has to be hack
If Soul Tether is risky because of the 0.5 second cast time, would it be a decent alternative to consider Swarming Scion instead since this build requires Vampire anyway?
no sets in particular are worth buying for AP in pvp for bow builds specifically. non bow builds though, you got maras balm, deadly strike and rallying cry.
I kind of wonder how this build would work with oakensoul? Could just drop rally/ vigor for one burst heal and put the fighters guild skill on front bar?

I made almost the exact same build as yours and I still hit for like 30% of what I see on this video, swapped Shadow Mundus with Lover and suddenly seen some better damage numbers. am I doing something wrong?
Need to say, bow just sucks in the current meta. There are some sort of brawler builds all over the sweaty ppl. Cap or even more than cap resistances + massive chunk of hp (35-40k) and also Undeath vampire passive and even Pariah sometimes. Also don't forget about Sea Serpent if you play CP Cyro/IC. So the go to is 2h Greatsword + Onslaught + Titanborn + TrueSworn. This build is old but works real good in no cp. If you want to play CP, then stick to guy named "onlynightblade". He has some good 2-bar setups for gank with procs

@@merked204gucci2 Orders wrath is a Craftable set that gives us More Crit chance and with this build we are already at the crit cap. so its useless for us to be using gourmands, when we can get more crit chance and crit 7% more often.
Hey same situation, i have the same stats that OP mentioned but those are with buff. Full legendary gear except 1 ring and necklace, those are purple. I don't have the vateshran back bar, is that why? I didn't think that the rally buff would give me so much crit damage. I can only get to 65% crit dmg buffed. I have khajit passives, full gold order of wrath, all medium tree passives, psijic skill buff, champion points, and all divines gear@@epic-buttkkr

Players underestimate the power of Silver Shards, given the number of Vampires and Werewolves in the game. It surprisingly slaps.

i would not worry about resists, and with tarnished and orders, you will be right at the crit damage cap, so you dont need to worry.

When I see all the buffs I done even need to see the video.
Nice mate but i dont understand why u are using evil hunter? Its only buff silver shards damage for 22% for only 5 sec but cost over 5000 stamina for that.. Better to use silver shards 2 times more with that stamina cost or? I dont see any sense to use this skill sorry mate if i dont understand something 🤔

How is this build given the new update? Is it still worth it?
still very good after the change. i made a few changes but the build still works as it should.
i got orders wrath all medium and fire bow and yewls, maybe issue is pen is below 4k but doesn't seem to perform better then my previous build, poison swamp rider
melee range i just get crushed easy so no point even trying to pick up any1 melee skills
crushing weapon only psy order skill i have, sins i am always ranged i don't need it, also 4sec cc immunity is pointless, i cant deal with so many things so i need buff that lasts 15sec-30sec, just like sorcs shield (Ward) became garbage when it became 4sec duration buff
I find with my NB its better to go stage 2 vamp as undeath is pointless as if your found your dead end of so might as well save the skill cost stage 3 does, and I use magicka regen food to give me more stealth
I used to always run stage 2 on my gank builds too because I though I could get more sustain.
In Practice, it Turns out that 30% damage mitigation Goes INCREDIBLY Hard at low health and means i can actually get away from people and not die in 1 hit, if i fail my combo. the sustain penalty is not even close to the 30% damage mitigation that you get at stage 3. but if you find that stage 2 works for you, then by all means stay at stage 2. as long as you are a vampire on this build, you are good.👍
@@epic-buttkkr yeah i get what your saying mate i just find vamp 2 more effective for me especially with all the stuns now available and with me running bloodthirsty i tend to pick the less than %90 health enemies kill them then get out of there lol :0) i prefer the sustain than surviiveability as it brings in more kills both work either way

I tried this build with order's wrath, but after some testing I found that I do more damage with Tarnished Nightmare.
Really for me orders wrath feels like it hits harder @Galadrew
Instead of order wrath maybe archers mind will give you like 8% all time and 24% (from inv/sneak) crit dmg instead of only 8, and u might use another mundus? Nice video btw.
Nvm crushing weapon and expert hunter takes u out of sneak, so probably u wont have the 24 crit only the 8. My bad

@allen1bbb is light armor, and fire is heavy, so I don't think you could push damage with it (since fire is mandatory for this build). I was looking for an alternative.

Vegan bow is incredibly mid. I would not recommend.
I could work without markyn, but you would loose some of the builds value.
Wild hunt is an alternative mythic.
If you have no mythics, go full balorgh for your monster set.
also like u said i half to use crushing weapon fast after bushing crouch button, but by then enemy sees me brakes my stealth and kills me cause they drain my magica/stamina with 2-3 light attacks, i have no clue how others can fight them melee cause there is no defense against that drain, what i have seen is so weird it has to be hack
If Soul Tether is risky because of the 0.5 second cast time, would it be a decent alternative to consider Swarming Scion instead since this build requires Vampire anyway?
you can but you are not going to benefit from the nightblade siphoning passives.

no sets in particular are worth buying for AP in pvp for bow builds specifically.
non bow builds though, you got maras balm, deadly strike and rallying cry.

I kind of wonder how this build would work with oakensoul? Could just drop rally/ vigor for one burst heal and put the fighters guild skill on front bar?
use healthy offering as your heal if you are going to make an oakensoul build with this
Why would you use oaky when you can have another entire bar?
Does sorc skill work as well as crushing weapon? It has longer dur, so maybe sorc gank is easier?

I made almost the exact same build as yours and I still hit for like 30% of what I see on this video, swapped Shadow Mundus with Lover and suddenly seen some better damage numbers. am I doing something wrong?
Need to say, bow just sucks in the current meta. There are some sort of brawler builds all over the sweaty ppl. Cap or even more than cap resistances + massive chunk of hp (35-40k) and also Undeath vampire passive and even Pariah sometimes. Also don't forget about Sea Serpent if you play CP Cyro/IC. So the go to is 2h Greatsword + Onslaught + Titanborn + TrueSworn. This build is old but works real good in no cp. If you want to play CP, then stick to guy named "onlynightblade". He has some good 2-bar setups for gank with procs

@@epic-buttkkr explain please or are you just speaking this bow gank cuz I have been choosing gourmands over orders when ever I decide that I wanna put a crit set on mostly ether non cp or cp ic gank builds I got a 2h onslaught gank build n dw cp gank build I always felt gourmands would be better due to 13% healing and dmg over the 8% but I haven’t rly actually put the 2 sets against eachother interested in hearing your response thx in advance 🤙
@@merked204gucci2 Orders wrath is a Craftable set that gives us More Crit chance and with this build we are already at the crit cap. so its useless for us to be using gourmands, when we can get more crit chance and crit 7% more often.

you gotta use your abilities and buff up. they give you extra stats.

Hey same situation, i have the same stats that OP mentioned but those are with buff. Full legendary gear except 1 ring and necklace, those are purple. I don't have the vateshran back bar, is that why? I didn't think that the rally buff would give me so much crit damage. I can only get to 65% crit dmg buffed. I have khajit passives, full gold order of wrath, all medium tree passives, psijic skill buff, champion points, and all divines gear@@epic-buttkkr
