    To please God, that is what our focus should be. To please ourselves is oftentimes what leads to sin. What a insightful sermon.

    Another great homily - and was a bit startled to hear my name! LOL Purity requires modesty - interior and exterior. It's a way of life.

    Ok my question is when it comes to modestly dressed i noticed leah darrow who i love is a spokes person on living our call in being catholic women in true beauty being of our heart but also she mentioned that because God is beauty we shouldnt omit beauty or disregard what is beautiful in women like our shape or eyes and i noticed she wears makeup and stuff and not basic concealer to cover dark circles but mascara and lipstick and all that so is it then ok to enhance features of our face or wear jewlry like her cuz i changed my jewlry of only holy medals a scapular and a miraculous medal ring thanks for any advice

      Natalia Marcondes maybe Leah Darrow has not discovered Sensus Fidelium yet...I asked a good priest about make-up. He said it’s ok as long as not excessive. Then I guess I have to discern what is excessive. So now I lightly wear make just not to look scary or mainly concealer because I look like that grumpy cat without it.

    • @nataliabenoit4653
      @nataliabenoit4653 6 лет назад +1

      Jo Gonzales look up girl defined channel they explain it really well but also discern does it take you too too long that it takes you away from time you could spend with God for example my sister shes 19 and takes 3 hours for makeup its crazy so im not in your shoes but discernment is your call but i found that question to be another elememt in terms of discerning is this taking my time away from God? And i also did a make up fast i guess u could call it i wore none for a whole season felt good cuz i looked more inward then out ward eventually i was able to balance

      @@pepper72375 As a professional celebrity makeup artist and Devout Cstholic, makeup is excessive when the blush is too dark, and not properly diffused, when it looks like a strip of brick across your check rather than gently patted on, gaudy mascara that looks super clumpy, eyeliner that is thick and sloppy, over done lips, or when makeup changes your appearance so much that you are unrecognizable compared to without it. Groom the face, eat healthy for beautiful skin, wash your face with A silicon bumpy pad, massage it with healthy oils, maintain natural beauty as best as possible so you don’t have to wear as much makeup. Don’t over do your brows but groom them and use a mascara that is the same color or slightly darker than your brows and gently comb them. Fill in any sparse areas with a very thin dense brow pencil. Use lip stains, or lipstick that’s close to your natural lip color, then blot some off with your finger and use it on your cheeks! Use foundations that are made to look like skin like physicians formula or something healthy and organic. Eat healthy fats and lots of greens! Sleep well, eventually you will realize you won’t need much and we shouldn’t focus too much on our face when we are out, we need to focus on Christ purifying our hearts and loving others. Don’t get caught up in being self conscious of how we look because we really can’t change it, it’s the face Christ gave us.

    One time I had nothing left to wear but a long skirt and a top that covered my shoulders to mass. Was this a sin? I wanted to wear something but I felt I had no choice but to be in mass that day. I was as modest as I possibly could be that day.

    Father is it possible to confess online? I confessed last October 100th anniversary of our lady of Fatima but I doubted the validly of the confession.plus I was too inhibited to open up to the priest and two weeks following the confession I sinned again .is it possible if I confess on Skype to you? Would that be a valid confession?

    • @nataliabenoit4653
      @nataliabenoit4653 6 лет назад +6

      According to the catholic tradition in vatican website you can find what consists of a legitamate confession it must be in the holy Church however a contrite heart is what God seeks after a true sorrow for sin so pray for that until you make that appointment its worth it my brother in Christ my first time after 12 years of no confession i was scared but figured its what Jesus wants so i lay it out everything my preist helpped me since i was just listing nervously then that contrition broke thru. After i was forever changed as a woman i didnt like rain before but after i did because God created it and every person because God created them i saw differently and only God in confession can do this for it is Jesus' blood that pours out on you in that room and so if the worst sinner who is my self didnt get excommuned because of my sin you too will experience the love of God in mercy too
      God bless ✌😘🌼

    Thank you Father. God's Creation of Adam and Eve, allowed us to feel all things. Therefore I can't understand why God is seen as a prude. The Islamic's Practice of Genital Mutilation is a Sin against God. Mere men Correcting what God Almighty Created. Please Reply. I actually showed my photo to my Priest, before using it. Perhaps knowing me as a 20+ Celibate 60year young, lady colored his view? Please Reply.

    But the body we will have as we are risen for the final judgement won't be the same as the one we have now. And this body, pure or not, will die and disintegrate.

    • @standev1
      @standev1 6 лет назад +5

      Your current body will be resurrected. It won't be the same as it will be immortal, but it will be the continuation of your current body.

    • @petercarlson811
      @petercarlson811 6 лет назад +1

      It will be a copy.

    • @standev1

      Actual corpses will rise from the graves, just like Our Lord rose from the tomb.

    • @petercarlson811
      @petercarlson811 6 лет назад +2

      Yes they will, but the atoms their previous bodies were made of will become part of the surounding soil. And some of those atoms will become a plant on the graveyard which will be eaten by an animal and pooped out 20 miles from there. So, when the corpse is resurrected it will be made from new atoms and thus a copy of the old one.

    • @nataliabenoit4653
      @nataliabenoit4653 6 лет назад +3

      Peter Carlson no atoms but a meta physical eternal body that is perfect looking in every way where even certain traits of our youth will be recognizeable in this new body for example Saint Therese her picture as a little girl had curls around her forehead in the new body although an adult those traits were recognizeable as they peaked thru her veil and the glow of her cheeks and white teeth in her new spiritual body so its a body of perfection, completely spiritual no gravity has an effect or the emotinal heart but in a pure state of joy peace, happiness and awareness that you are loved so full of love and God is your full delight...you can even be in more then one place at one time the body that limits where we are because of flesh its in the new body that there is no limit and no hindrance because theres no physical fingers or toes but a spiritual one and we are part of that perfect Trinity in its omnipotence.

    Purity is always a spiritual issue never a bodily one. Nothing you do to the body can make it either impure or clean. This idea is some offspring of the ritual laws of the old covenant where the body itself was to be seen as unclean under certain circumstances. And the utterly silly idea that a womans body was unclean on a monthly basis.

    • @petercarlson811
      @petercarlson811 6 лет назад

      Wow Hona, please drop the name calling. It doesn't add weight to your arguments.
      Please explain how the body becomes impure by fornication? Wherein lies the impurity of the body? The soul yes, absolutely. Body, naah, I don't think so.

    • @petercarlson811
      @petercarlson811 6 лет назад

      Hona, insults and wild claims. I'm not impressed.
      The issue of purity/impurity is a spiritual one. If I decide to commit fornication that stains my soul and my relation with god but does nothing on a physical level. I'm still roughly 6 pounds of bacteria and have the same layer of dirt, oils and dead skin cells covering my skin. My immune system fights off the same intruders as usual. So tell me where is the impurity in/on my body?

    • @jasonhaiflich8967
      @jasonhaiflich8967 Год назад

      It’s a bodily issue because we are sexual creatures by nature, by biology. Certain aspects of our nature are base, they can be compared to animals. Food and sex.
