If anyone's curious Omega Mart isn't actually a grocery store although you can buy stuff at it it's part of an immersive experience called meow wolf which is a collection of art pieces from local artists with rooms and exhibits that take you to different worlds and dimensions also other locations have different spaces and experiences I love meow wolf is definitely worth the ticket price and it's a whole experience😅

As a person who grew up in fairfield Ohio, jungle Jim's grows on you and you don't even notice the weirdness after a couple visits
I live by the other location of jungle jim’s and I agree lol
And you take the various imported foods for granted. I live 3 hours away now and can't get Aero bars and instant yakisoba :(

Lived near the other location for about a year. The fancy cheeses I would scavenge from scratch and dent...the beautiful unknown vegetables...what a place.
For Jungle Jim’s, it’s not “ monkey Elvis impersonator”, it’s called The King and he’s from CEC Pizza Time Theater in the late 70’s and was removed about the late 90’s
Was looking for this comment lmfao. The King is so INSANELY rare to come by, any of the animatronics from that time are damn well near extinct, so many of them have become lost media of sorts.
Also that he's a lion and another variant called King Kat was made whom was supposed to be a Michael Jackson impersonator

My grandparents have a condo near Lucy the elephant, she was my childhood! The video footage about the history was taken by my late grandmother! I do like content like this but with Lucy definitively having more of a local influence this feels like such a weird but lovely coincidence that this video got recommended to me. I subscribed :)

The monkey Elvis is actually from chuck e cheese , it was a old character that got discontinued, his name is the king , the store must've got one.
Should add that Jungle Jim's has 2 locations that are similar, but also very different experiences. As a native Cincinnatian, the Fairfield one should be your go to.

I live near Orange World and the Wizard!! Loved this video! My favorite weird store is in Estes Park, Colorado. It’s a giant Noah’s Ark boat full of just stuffed animals!

Those futuristic scanners you saw at The Sphere have been standard in pretty much every Circle K I've been to in the past year. I think they added them sometime in late 2022. Interesting stuff!

I've passed by that wizard store when we were going to Disneyworld. Only, i remember it holding a lemon instead.
I've been to the sphere. Saw U2 there, stayed at the Palazzo, went to the Vegas Neon graveyard, and saw a Vikings game at Allegiant! (the one where the Vikings scored the only three points of the game...) Either way, the Sphere was EPIC! In terms of scale, sound quality, and effects, there is really nothing like it.

Wow jungle Jim's brings back memories. I grew up in Cincinnati and remember begging my parents to always take me there but it was a drive so didn't get to go much. I'm 40 years old now but still remember it fondly as a child.

4:00 i remeber imagining that kind of a movie screen many years ago before this sphere was built. I also imagined the chairs tilting back so you wouldnt have to strain your neck so bad.
There should definitely be a part two to this video! There is one relatively small store that I know of in York, Pennsylvania called “The Dark Parlour” with several odd items such as bones, an old pachinko-sequence machine and even a real human skeleton that is being sold for 10 grand! There’s also a cute snake there :D!
