Tears always roll down my face with this song. I had a non loving mother who was never around for me in any way. Men were always more important than her children. I cry because I always wonder how it would be to feel this amount of love for a mother. I am a mother of 3 girls and they are my world, life and soul. I know I'm not the perfect mother but all I can do is try and pray to be their best mother.

I too had one of those mom's. However I was blessed to have father (not my biological dad mind you) who loved us unconditionally and this song goes out to him. He filled some big shoes and thought me how to be a great mom to my kids. He was, is,and will forever be our rock.

Sorry to hear that. I'm not a perfect mom. I get sick alot. My kids have to help at times but my love is deep. I would die without them. I push thru bc of them. I now understand my mom and dad more. So this song hits hard mom had been in dialysis for a few months, I live 1200 miles away I try to go see her every Christmas, for some reason in late July I woke up crying in bed my wife asked me what was happening if I had a nightmare ,and I did I was dreaming that I was at my mothers funeral, so a week after in early August I decide to go and spend a week with her and dad , she was happy when I would take her to her doctors appointments , but it was really hard after my week was over and I had to go back to work, in late September she passed ,I went to the hospital as quick as I could and spend 10 nights with her but never was able to hear her voice anymore, today I wish I would wake up and that everything would be a nightmare again! I miss her so much and she’s only been gone a few days 😞

Im a 39 yr old man and can't listen to this song without tears in my eyes. But in my mind I change the mom to dad. He wasn't perfect and yes made mistakes but have many great and loving memories. Even when I would get upset, he would call and say " son, te amo.
