I absolutely love the squeaky bean tuna. Its my favourite. I put salad cream in mine 🤤 its amazing on a jaket potato. I also did a tuna melt, with pickled red onion 🤤 I like the shrimppe every now and then as a change. I was going to try the salmon but have definitely changed my mind now. Thanks for the review 😊
Glad we could save you from the salmon. I’m sure there are some people who enjoy it, but to our tastes it might as well have been a vegan chicken alternative. We’ve got to try it with the jacket potato soon! 💚
I'm with you both more fish alternative is needed i loved the salmon replacement and the scampi was disappointing thanks for the ideas with the tuna replacement
Olive the salmon fillet. Top favourites of mine are future farm tuna, Aldi frozen fishless fillets and Morrisons plantain revolution frozen fishless fingers
Have not tried any of the products mentioned due to prices. Another awesome video Charlie & Freya reviewing the fish alternatives for vegans. Since the salmon wasn't recommended by both of you and a few in the comments the price isn't justified. Vegetable fingers definitely are a 😋 and healthy alternative to fish fingers. Thanks for trying these, much appreciated. I’ve tried Squeaky bean smoked salmon slices. They were a good texture and look, but they smell kind of fruity, with no smoke element. I did marinade a couple of slices in liquid smoke, but not good enough for me to buy them again, sadly.
Glad you enjoyed the video 💚 we’ve not tried the salmon, we usually make our own at Christmas time by marinating thin carrot shavings. If you have to flavour their salmon yourself at home then that’s not great!
Please try Aldi's salt and vinegar fish fillets, they're in the freezer section, they really are fab, specially in a bun with some tartar sauce and lettuce, I got kind of addicted to them for a while!! 😂😂😂
