That reasoning alone means that she can accept Wright as her "Daddy" while continuing her search for her biological dad. She can still search, but he is ready to provide emotional stability within that.
I truly respected him for this. He's not with the mother anymore and had no obligation to stay in her life but you could see how much she really meant to him when he started crying as well. He didn't HAVE to be her dad and stick around, he chose to, even tho he had no ties to that family anymore and no true responsibility like say a stepfather would. Even tho she didn't find her bio dad, this one did end truly beautifully when he still stepped up to that plate.
I was really shocked at the result. They look very similar, in particular they have the same sort of jagged teeth, for me that seemed a sure giveaway. I had a toxic mother and I love reading comments like yours because it fills my heart full of joy that other children have good mothers and never experience/experienced this type of suffering. That girl should take a ancestor test. My mother found her dad after 56 years of searching with it. He didn’t take the test but his sisters nieces and nephews did and my mothers bio cousins found my moms dad. It was pretty awesome.
I did this also, to try and find some of my biological father family, no luck, I know who my father is, since I was 18, but he has no interest in me. 😔 Anyways, it's sad we have to do ancestry dna to find family.

msdogooder yes it is a great way to find out where you come from and family. I used it myself and found out I am related to all kinds of people I never knew. It really does help. There have been people who were adopted who used it and found their biological family. It definately will narrow the search
