A lot of the negative comments about the MCU really don't get comics and how stories have been told in them for decades. Milage varies, but phase 4 is where risks are taken and the stories feel more like the stuff you might have read in the 80s or 90s. I guarantee if you go in with the mindset that it isn't going to just be the same old same, you'll appreciate it all a lot more.
Some of the Disney+ streaming series are great, don't give up after Endgame.
The Snap only removed people from current existence. They still existed up to that point.

This is what happens when u read the comments, the folks who hate the mcu now will try to influence reactors to not watch anything after endgame instead of letting the reactors chose for themselves
Exactly why I get so frustrated with some reactors/commentors. It happens with Star Wars a lot, too. Just let em watch it and see how it goes. But no, they influence them to either go in ready to hate it or they skip it all together. I've seen it happen too many times.

I don't hate the MCU, but even I admit that a lot of the current MCU is skippable.
Out of everything that's come out as of late, the only things I'd recommend really are Loki, WandaVision, Spiderman: No Way Home, and Multiverse of Madness.
@@VelociraptorsOfSkyrim Nothing in the mcu is skippable. People should decide what they want to watch without to much of a third party telling them to watch or don’t watch. Maybe they like something most people despise. The mcu fandom is really annoying with new watchers, coupled with the fact they experienced the projects themselves and keep watching even though the claim to hate almost all of it.

There is still some good stuff beyond endgame, especially the TV shows in some cases. But I would agree that this was the peak. Definitely a choice to continue or not. It doesn't get bad for the most part... Just not as good

@@laneybrandonbl not really, just Skulls are hiding on earth, Talos and Agent Hill are dead and Talos daughter has some avengers DNA (Hulk, Groot, etc) Nick Fury is back in space, and theres some conspiracy that skulls infiltrated top ranks of various world gov(they did) so at the end they show people just killing randoms thinking theyre skrulls.

Yes, there are about two or three movies in the future that will be rough to watch (or maybe not, I know people who have enjoyed them anyway), but also some very good ones, at least a couple great. The only serious problem I can see is that you may get overwhelmed by the volume of material as the Disney+ series come into play.
Funny easter egg ( or coincidence ), Scott call his idea a "Time Heist", which is also the name of a Doctor Who episode where they have to travel in time to recover artefacts to save people's lives. AND there is an episode of Star Trek Voyager called "Endgame", which is about the captain of a starship going back in time to save her crew.
So on Cassie’s actress, she actually was exactly the age Cassie is supposed to be. She just looks older than she is. Honestly she’s way better than… well you’ll get there.

What happened with nebula was there were 2 of them in the same timeline sharing a similar robotic network, why the past nebula was able to subconsciously access and reveal any of future nebula's memory database.

@15:43 Cassie was 10 in Ant-Man and the Wasp. Emma Fuhrmann was 17 when she played Cassie at age 15 in this movie. I absolutely agree that they should have gotten someone closer to the age of the character.

I still think you should continue even if some movies are fails or are just okay. There are still good t v shows and good movies. You have to do Wanda vision...You have to do Loki...You have to do Spider-Man, no way home...You have to do Black Widow...You have to do Doctor Strange in the multi verse of madness. Then you have to do loki season two and then you have to do with the new ant man and the wasp.
Shang-Chi is also pretty good, I think.

Great reaction both - this was amazing in the cinema - great to relive it through your first time.
Hearing all the people in the theatre go oh no! to Thors transformation was the best ever - its great as it show it can happen to anyone as mental health is tuff sometimes - but make him more relatable and human.
I don't remember looking forward to seeing someone react to this movie as much as you two, The vibes are always great. Looking forward to your far from home reaction and seeing what you two do next!

When is part 2
There IS good stuff post-Endgame, though it does feel like there are a few more misses than hits. But the Spider-Man movies, WandaVision, Loki, and Shang-Chi are all standouts. And even the disappointing offerings help build the world and fill us in on Endgame's aftermath while setting up where things are going.
Don't listen to the comments some people exaggerate things because the level Endgame took it to. There are great things after endgame, the only bad thing you can say is She hulk and Thor 4.

Phase 4 is LARGE. Spider-Man: No Way Home is the midpoint of Phase 4 (there are 8 MCU projects before it, & 8 MCU projects after it).
Start with Phase 4, Marvel WILL ASSUME you’ve watched previous Marvel-related/non-MCU movies & will now start ADDING HEAVY ELEMENTS of those properties into the MCU WITHOUT INTRODUCTION/EXPLANATION.
BEFORE YOU GET TO SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME, you need to watch (bare-minimum):
The previous 5 non-MCU Spider-Man” films
X-Men (at least the first film)
Daredevil* (at least the first season)
*Daredevil becomes more relevant with each passing project!
Again, heavy elements of these properties will be introduced into the MCU without explanation; it would be very wise to react to those BEFORE “No Way Home.” As you get closer to that movie, the Comment Section will definitely start reminding you to watch those other properties.

spiderman 2 and 3 are good. wandavision and loki (both seasons) are good. guardians 3 is ok. multiverse of madness is decent. "what if" is fun. everything else is avg or lower imho.
Keep in mind the MCU is ongoing. Theres no new avengers movie after endgame YET
While a few decades older the X-Men films (most of them) are worth watching. In the 80s X-Men outsold all other Marvel titles (except Transformers in 1985).
Not sure they bothered to introduce Adam Warlock in GotG Vol 2 then not use him here. Poor Jim Starlin.

Spider-Man: Far From Home is a good coda to Phase 3. As far as Phase 4, there's some good stuff - watch shows WandaVision, Loki and the Guardians Holiday Special, and then there's *some* good movies - Shang-Chi, Guardians 3 and Spider-Man: No Way Home (but watch ALL the previous Maguire/Garfield Spider-Man movies first if you haven't seen them yet).

Thanos couldn’t alter reality in the first scene because he had already destroyed the stones-one of which was the time stone.
Please don't listen to the comment-whiners saying that the MCU has tanked since Endgame. Typically these are people who like nothing better than to complain for the sake of it (maybe they think it gets them the attention they desperately crave? Just a theory). I'm a long time MCU fan and some of my favourites have been released SINCE Endgame. And some of the TV shows are simply brilliant. Even the lesser entries are still really enjoyable.

And I take it you are one of the bright sparks who hates everything Brie Larsen ever did because she's so "woke", and has been on a hate mission about it since 2019. The Marvels is one of my favourite MCU movies and I have zero idea (or interest) in box office takings. It has ZERO relationship with the overall "quality" of a movie, and especially with its enjoyability. Hot tip: Grow TF Up and understand that your personal tastes are not the measure of quality film making.
After this movie they are rebuilding to a new story … basically it starts over but from that same spot it left at .. think of it as starting from one again

Loki season one and two are very good, no way home is great, wander vision is good also, theres some greatvstuff then some not so great in phase 4 and 5

After endgame most recommended are : Spider man far from home, Spider man No way home, LOKI S1 & S2 highly highly recommended.

Out of the 24 projects that have come out since Endgame (yes, I know that sounds like a lot), only about eight of them are okay, to mediocre, to bad. The rest are still really good. Continue with the journey and enjoy. But maybe take more breaks in between. No need to rush through.

there are some good films after this one for sure. shang chi was good, spiderman was awesome, black widow was pretty good. the loki/hawkeye tv shows were really good. just dont let peoples comments get to you when you watch after endgame and youll enjoy most of them. were there obvious flaws in some of them, yes but i think its partially because the infinity stone saga was SO good that alot of things following it seemed non impactful. if youre to good at your job your boss expects everytime you come to work that youll be just as insanely good and its not reasonable. keep the journey going. Im still watching them and i had to wait to go to each next movie over the span of 16 years lol. im jealous you can binge them all. love the channel keeep it up
A couple of years before this movie a new Captain America comic book came out and it seemed Captain America went bad and was a part of hydra and said "Hail Hydra"... it was a big thing at the time because MCU was so popular. Chris Evans tweeted or said in an interview that his Captain America would never say "Hail Hydra", so I always thought it was the funniest thing that he did say it in Endgame!

Regarding reaching this peak in Marvel movies, here are my thoughts. Everyone here loves Marvel; Old Marvel, MCU Marvel; There is a lot, and I think most Marvel reaction watchers will check out any of Marvels backlog, so don't feel pressured. Sure, some of the movies later might not all be as great, but its in seeing your reaction to those good and bad moments that do it for us.
Considering where you are in the MCU, you are nearing the end of Phase 3, with the next movie Spider-Man: Far From Home concluding it. Phases 1-3 have since been labeled the "Infinity Saga", and, without getting into any spoilers, I will say Phases 4-6 have been labeled the "Multiverse Saga". So my thoughts are; after watching Spider-Man FFH, put a pause on the MCU movies and go back and re/watch the other Marvel series. Watch the older Spider-Man movies. Watch the X-men Series. Watch the 2000s Fantastic Four movies. Heck, I'd go as far to say watch Ghost Rider and Daredevil/Elektra movies too. You could just watch one series at a time, but if you want a more MCU "jumping between plot threads as the movies released" feeling, this is my preferred watch order for the legacy Marvel movies:
1 Blade (Cool for the time; 90s cringe, could skip)
2 X-Men
3 Spider-Man
4 Blade II
5 Daredevil (Funny bad)
6 X2: X-Men United
7 The Punisher
8 Spider-Man 2
9 Blade: Trinity

Mind you, this is my own preferred order. It's based more off of when the movie was released, but shifted around so you are not watching the same series too often in a row. There were a few shifts that were more focused on maintaining a "headcannon" continuity between series, but it would not reflect onto the viewing experience. Essentially this is everything that could be pulled for a joke in the upcoming next Marvel movie.
Oh, and watch Netflix Daredevil, at least one season is possible :P

There is a ton of great stuff in the MCU after Endgame. Don't let people scare you away! Marvel takes some big swings starting in phase four, and while there are some misses personally I'd rather they take chances and try new things.
The MCU movies and shows after Endgame are much more hit and miss than the ones up to Endgame, but there are some really good ones still to come. Especially the Spider-Man ones, and a few of the Disney+ shows, which are able to explore a lot of the consequences and implications of things that happened in the movies in a way that wouldn't have been possible in a feature film.

They had announced the next Avengers movie but that was before their main antagonist for the film got caught up in legal troubles. So those plans are now somewhat nebulous now. There will be another Avengers but the direction may be changed. 😮
If you are wondering how Captain Marvel found Tony and Nebula...she has an ability called her "Seventh Sense" which is basically a cosmic awareness. She would never get lost in space. She always knows where she is in relation to anything else. 😮
The Disney Plus episodic serieses directly following this movie are good. WandaVision, Falcon and Winter Soldier, and Hawkeye are must watch. Black widow is really good, too.

No, there hasn’t been any new Avengers films yet because of multiple delays (Covid, death of Chadwick, former Disney CEO Bob Chapek & former Marvel producer Victoria Alonso stretching the crews too thin, new directors & writers for projects, SAG strike, WGA strike, and Jonathan Majors trial, all causing the films to be pushed back to 2026
I'd just watch Spider-man no way home and Gaurdians fo the Galaxy 3 and that's it. I'd go do the Fox X-men I & II, Logan, the Agents of Shield TV series ( season 4 is the best TV ever filmed) The Netflix marvel Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, The Defenders. That's it

Yes, there are a few movies that didn't pan out well, but then there were some that felt that way about some in the first 3 phases.
Phase 4 dealt more with the character development after the trauama and affects of the snaps.
So for those with short attention spans didn't like not having action explosions and fighting every other scene, I suppose.
There are shows snd movies that actually make you see through their eyes, what their reality is like for them after Endgame.
I appreciate it because it gives them depth and not just 2 dimensional comic book characters.

SERIES LIKE SHE HULK, MS. MARVEL AND WANDAVISION, give you alot more perspective on the journey so far and on the exciting things to come.
An explanation of time in the mcu. It’s not a line, it’s like a tree with branches. U can’t destroy matter. So if something happens in your time, it cannot be changed by going back in time. If u go back in time, and do something different, it just creates a second timeline different than the one u came from. In other words, it’s not like back to the future (grandfather paradox) where u can go back in time and kill ur grandfather and u disappear in the future). If u go back in time and kill ur grandad, now you’ve created a second timeline next to yours. One where u are from where u already exist, and one where u don’t exist. One set of events in one branch doesn’t effect the other branch. You’ll learn more about this in future movies/shows so I won’t spoil it for u with more details.
