Try some Gate City Foundation Drainage too. He comes up with surprise side-videos such as fully fabricating a trailer like the one both he and Victory use to haul the cement buggy, or buying a used F-250 and completely overhauling it (pun intented).
I love the veterano that said he couldn’t even sleep last night thinking about the steps. That is a guy the cares and has pride in his work.
Darrel sr is literally the only person that can show up late for work eating a sandwich he got from the store and not feel one ounce of shame doing it

Eric is by far the most valuable player. He's like a sponge just yearning to be taught. ie. the stairs. He jumped in to help Bugs with a wheelbarrow full of gravel base. He's always busy and always has a smile. What a valuable asset He is to Victory!!!

Dude I don't really write comments but after watching like 30 of your videos in a matter of 2 days, I thought it would only be right to do so. I don't do any construction let alone masonry but I can not stop watching the videos. I am sure at this point that its your personality and how you treat everyone you come across. Your positive messages to your kids, and taking care of your employees. You are truly an idol brother. Hard working, family man, great employer, friendly to everyone. That's hard work. I worked in concrete for 5 years with my dad. Loved every single thing abt it. From waking up early, loading the trucks, finding where and what we were doing. Breaking concrete, setting it up and pouring it. We did mostly pool decks, patios and driveways. 👍
😅 really like how well you all work together. Really impressed when Eric stepped up to help Buggs with the overloaded wheel barrel. How each one anticipated and did what needed to be done on steps without anyone asking or saying. Very impressive crew. I enjoy watching the joking and the hard work you all do!

@Big Dog Vacation days are usually cashed out if used with in a certain amount of time, (here) while Sick time is lost if not used. (a lot of people will take several weeks of "mental health" days before leaving a job)
I love this channel. It could be a series on TV easily. Entertaining from start to finish!!
Love seeing this sort of stuff. As a relatively new homeowner who needs these types of projects done it REALLY helps to see the amount of work that goes into the price I'm being quoted. When you don't have any experience with it, it's easy to just think 'oh it won't cost that much, it's just a bit of concrete' and not really understand the level of craft and labor that really goes into it.

I'm Jamaican living in Canada. I have no plans on pouring a concrete drive or patio but I find myself watching your videos every night at work 🙃.
My sister and husband lives in Atlanta and they were having a driveway poured and I got busy "advising" them what to look for and what to insist on with their contractor.
I had to stop because I realized they are in a different area so conditions and standards are different 🤦🏽♂️🤣.

Hey Ryan, a cool way to explain how control joints work is to tell people to think of it as a KitKat or Hershey bar. How they are slightly cut in grooves and they usually always break down the control joints.

Everyday while I’m on my way to work and at work I watch these RUclips videos all the time. Keep up the good work Ryan also I’m a concrete and landscape guy just letting you know Ryan. My dad owns a concrete business in Virginia and his buddy owns a landscaping business in Virginia too so I work for them
I think Daryl has taken the "Easy Money" motto a little too literal. I feel bad for the rest of the crew when Ryan lets him get away with so much but everyone else is working. It's got to be a motivation killer.
Ryan is really hypocritical. If the other guys took advantage of him the way Daryl does. Ryan would be walking around hot headed and threatening to fire people. I lost a tad bit respect for Ryan. I hope eric learns from Ryan mistakes on who to have working for him. So no one takes advantage of him.

This! Seeing your boss doing the work you’re doing, really boosts morale. Easy to criticize from an office, but when you’re in the trenches with the troops, you get a better idea of what they’re dealing with
Darryl. Your one lucky guy, if I had someone sleeping on the job constantly and making my company look bad you'd be on the hunt for a new job. You should be more respectful to Ryan than to sleep on his dime as well as yourself.
With all the people doing drugs and falling asleep behind the wheel all over the internet, most would not want to be caught looking like one of those people, not saying your on drugs but people could use one of those pictures which would make Victory look very bad.

Daryl obviously has little respect for Ryan, if any at all. His actions prove that on every video. He knows Ryan is a sucker for his lame excuses. But hey, it’s Ryan’s money and Ryan’s business to waste at his own discretion. He must pay the crew very well, or he would be looking for help. Why else would someone stick around with a boss who allows his friend to get paid to sleep on the job, destroy equipment, stand around while others work, etc.

You are very patient with the Daryl's I see you have an amazing heart but at what point does there actions start to affect the other workers who work the whole day just wondering is all your an amazing boss and I have worked for many who where no where near as nice and understanding as you are
@Big Dog if you've ever run a business before, you have to make difficult decisions. The truth is Daryl takes advantage of Ryan's generosity. If Daryl was a true friend, he would not sleep on the job all the time and negatively affect his boss' business.
Daryl makes for good content. That's probably a huge reason why he hasn't been canned yet.
