I don't think gaming is better or worse because you *can* play multiplayer or in a vc, especially because you can also play singleplayer or with strangers (without voice)
my point was really to provide some counter examples to that specific part of the argument, sorry if my exaggerations came across as dismissive.

The only explicit no-females factions are the Space Marines and any adjacent factions like chaos space marines and grey knights. This for lore reasons involving how space marines are made.

@13:44- You never lived it because NO ONE ever lived it. It's a fake, phony illusion of simplicity that ignores the complex reality of what life was actually like (at the dawn of the Cold War & nuclear paranoia). This is the trouble-free, perfect-life fantasy that was being sold on TV at the time. It was no more real than an episode of "Leave It To Beaver" or "The Brady Bunch". You can't "go back" to something that never existed.

Reading might be a solo thing, but it's very easy to extract reading into a social realm by having discussions about the themes and motives, and the good and bad parts. You read them alone, but you understand them together. However, the point still stands, gaming is a great social activity, even though it is often seen as an incel one.
I feel like a Noah’s Arc theme park could potentially work, you could have like a lot of different exhibits talking about all manner of animals, most likely whatever ones are explicitly mentioned in that story, make it like a really advanced zoo or something. It could theoretically work
Ken Ham probably shouldn’t run it tho with hypocritical takes like that
It’s called the Creation Museum and it’s styled a bit like a museum. Unfortunately it’s just to say that the creation story of the Bible is completely true, and that the flood is why we think the Earth is billions of years old when it’s actually 6000 (arbitrary number gotten by adding up the ages of the men in the Bible). It doesn’t account for all the different habitats creatures would need and the boat couldn’t fit the amounts of food every creature would need. It doesn’t explain those and instead spends many of its exhibits blandly insulting science.
It’s a bit strange.

the thing with techbros is that they’re cripplingly terrified of the working class - hence them trying to make all these ridiculous gadgetbahns to “fix traffic” when the answer (trains) has been right there the whole time. They see “trains” and think “ew, poors”.
The other side has the same problem but with emissions.
Do what has been done for centuries and implement cleaner and more efficient methods of burning hydrocarbons/coal? No, just close it all and replace with solar and more batteries than can ever be produced.

Either that or something so common sense you wonder what rock that person has lived under to believe it's unpopular. There's no in-between.

As a Dutch person, I'm gonna be yapping a bit:
Just coming in with the door in house, no, that would not be possible. Building dykes in water of that depth would, simply put, be impossible, and if not physically, financially. It already takes a lot to maintain the little polders we have in the Netherlands, ensuring one of that size and that depth will stay put is a task not yet possible with our current technology. The only reason we Dutch people aren't having floods constantly is because we tamed the dragon that is the sea. You ever wonder why there's a North Sea and no South Sea? Yeah that's a lake now. Can't say the same for the USA and the ATLANTIC OCEAN.
Source: I live in a country that's for like 1/3 under sea level and we get lessons on this topic at like 7/8 years old. It ain't rocket science.

You absolutely can read a book together. Buy two copies, read through at a similar pace. Buy it on audiobook, listen together and cuddle. Read it at separate times and talk about it. Lots of ways to read a book together!

Every time an old subreddit is featured in a video, i play the game "count until politics", in which you count the amount of posts shown until you see anything related to American politics
In this video it took the surprising and insane amount of 3 (three) posts, and it could have been 2 if you accept the british museum as politics

The Main Problem with people thinking there aren't Queer Kids is, if there weren't Queer Kids, there wouldn't be Queer Adults....
2:40 for those who don’t know that was supposed to a joke referring how stupid the alantropa was.
Alantropa was a proposition to the Spain government on draining the Mediterranean Sea.
And I assume the original post was exaggerating the stupidity of the original idea
how stupid is it though? the dutch drained parts of the (now ex-)Zuiderzee to create the modern day province of Flevoland. now this isnt nearly as big as the mediterranean sea but still..... maybe they didnt employ enough dutch engineers xD
7:55 This is exactly why My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic skyrocketed in popularity for both kids and adults, I never would've expected to fall in love with the show, but then I realized it had such a large following of people in their adult years so I decided to check it out and before long I was sucked in. I also found out that many a people who were disgusted with Bronies ended up becoming one once they gave it a try
Just going to throw out there, the very existence of dog breeds is proof of evolution. If a creature couldn't evolve into a different type of creature, all dogs would appear to be the same, and not as completely separate looking breeds.
Also cat breeds, a lot of different plant species, shrimp breeds, etc.

2:43 but you can though although the technique is usually only used on the China sea to make islands and is usually done on shallow waters, basically it is using sand from somewhere like a desert and just dumping it into the water, it may not be as big as she wants it to be as i believe it is vary deep there so aka a money issue and no doubt it would cause environmental damage aka a ethical issue but it could give more land maybe like a mile or so of extra land from North to south but likely not much more
