An ideal vapor-compression heat pump cycle with Refrigerant 134a as the working fluid provides heating at a rate of 15 kW to maintain a building at 20°C when the outside temperature is 5°C. Saturated vapor at 2.4 bar leaves the evaporator, and saturated liquid at 9 bar leaves the condenser. Calculate (a) the power input to the compressor, in kW (b) the coefficient of performance (c) the coefficient of performance of a Carnot heat pump cycle operating between thermal reservoirs at 20 and 5°C Can you solve this ?
You know before expansion valve refrigerant is all vapour. When it passes through the expansion valve it expands (in the evaporator) and causes cooling. But it is not evaporated 100% so when it leaves evaporator and reaches the compressor inlet it has gas and liquid (which is still not evaporated). I hope you get the idea now.
Thank you sir 2 hour before exam m watching your video
why h1 and h2 are same for subcooling upto 20 degree celcius

how to apply interpolation??
How did u come to conclusion that the inlet of compressor has mixture of gas and liquid?

Sir numerical based on pH chart
In exam it is compulsory to solve numerical by using table only
@@bestmechanicalengineeringsir which table is best for refrigeration and air conditioning. Please reply sir🙏
Sir provide the pdf of table
