God gave everyone the choice to follow him, because if someone is following him out of force their devotion doesn't really mean anything. All those bad things that are happening aren't God's doing, it is what people have chosen to do and while God has the power to stop them he has to let us make decisions for ourselves. We aren't robots. When someone chooses to allow God into their life they began to live by God and doing the right things. God is perfect and righteous. When Jesus died on the cross he allowed us to be with God. His death cleansed us from all the wrong things we've done and we can now be in the presence of God. Even though you don't like God he loves you sooo much more than you will ever know. God considers you one of his children and Jesus died for you. My prayer is that one day you realise this. ❤
For all the people commenting about the length of the video and the update schedule: animation is one of the most elaborate forms of art making. I’m very surprised they put them out AS FAST as they do. People must be working so hard!

This new style we're using for the Spiritual Beings series has introduced many challenges for the animation team, so working on a shorter video was actually very helpful. We actually worked on this video at the same time as the Intro video to the series. We were solving a few animation things. I think they're getting their concepts from Dr. Heiser's research --just like YAHgeel_pitting
said. The basic book is "Supernatural", I suggest everyone interested starts with that one. Then, "The Unseen Realm". Finally, his newest book, "Angels". Of course don't expect it to be 100% biblical: in order to go deeper into the Bible, one has to know about ancient Middle East languages and cultures.
Can't wait for more of this. The "Son of Man" series on the podcast has been mind-blowing, earth-shattering, & gut-splattering. Excited to learn more from you guys, as always!

@@Loralou4455 not sure how far you’ve gotten in the podcast archive but the series that goes with these videos is called “God or gods” it’s way back in July of 2018 (episode 94 is the beginning of the series…I went and looked just to make sure) They are… like “the Son of Man” series…just as MIND BLOWING and if someone you know is second guessing their faith this is “the series” you should recommend. I sat there dumbfounded the entire time! Eventually thinking why are we not taught the Bible like this! More teaching less preaching should be the way of the church. Anyway just figured I would mention it

The biblical words that are translated into English as “God/god” are “elohim” (Hebrew) and “theos” (Greek). In the Bible, these words are used to refer to the one God of Israel, the ultimate source and Creator of all reality, including other spiritual beings (see Gen. 1:1; Deut. 6:4). However, these words are also used to refer to other spiritual beings like angels (e.g., Ps. 8:5), the divine council (e.g., Ps. 89:5-8), and the deities worshiped by other nations (e.g., Exod. 12:12; Deut. 4:28; 1 Cor. 8:5-6). Elohim and theos can even refer to the non-physical spirits of the dead (e.g., 1 Sam. 28:13).
When the biblical authors call other spiritual beings “elohim,” they are not expressing a belief that these beings are God. Elohim and theos are category titles that refer to any being inhabiting the spiritual realm that exists parallel to the earthly realm. The one Creator God of Israel is an elohim, but no other elohim is the Creator God. This helps us clarify the often misunderstood concept of monotheism. This word is a fusion of two Greek words mono (one) and theism (god). The modern definition of monotheism is the belief that there is only one God. This is not how the biblical authors use the words elohim and theos. Nowhere in the Bible do they claim that there is only one spiritual being. Rather, they believe that there is one elohim supreme over all other elohim, the Creator of all things, Yahweh.

Little bit confused right now, so when Jesus referred to psalm 82 “ aren’t you all elohim” he meant that he is also one of these heavenly creatures and not yahweh !

Jesus is a transliteration of Yahshua. That's why He was called Yahshua of Nazareth because it was a common name
Drew first people should learn the truth that there is one God, above all other Gods, and they should love the Lord their God with all thy heart, their soul, their mind, and all their strength. After this, everything else will follow.
@@dutchmcgee101 it's not completely accurate though. When you search deeper, you'll actually see that unfortunately the Greeks altered with the transliteration. They deviated from the transliteration rules when it came go the that particular name in the bible, the suffix 'us' is actually a commonality in Greek which is used to honor Zeus.
The early English men actually kept the original name Yahweh but changed it later on. Hence in the bible Yashua says that when he returns many will say that they healed and prophesied in his name, but he will ultimately reject them saying that he never knew them.[Mat. 7:21-23] Some because of their crooked nature of course, but others because they knew the name Yahweh/Yashua but still choose to call him Jesus meaning Hail Zeus.
Some would not know, in which we know they will be spared because Elohim looks at the heart. But those who knew but choose to reject will in turn be rejected.

G.H.ChristoFascist check out Michael Heiser. He’s the one who is consulting them on the spiritual beings series. They’ve also referenced his podcast on theirs and had him on as a guest. He speaks at length about the Nephilim.
They are the offspring of the fallen angels mating with humans. The bible is pretty clear and obvious on that. Also, if the fallen are caged right now, demons must be the spirits of the Nephilim. God didnt create the Nephilim spirits and therefore has no place for them. They wander the earth with no need satisfied. Hence why they are so desperate and insane and hate humans. My last conjecture is educated guessing.

@@brianjauch9958 Well they do, but after the first rebellion/battle, theyve chosen to not have freewill. Theyve chosen for God to choose for them. Its a form of freewill. Humans are in fact doing the same thing as we speak. The fallen angels are a different story. They have pure freewill right now, but they are by-proxy forced to do anything they can to hate and annihilate humans. They have run out of freedom and purpose. You need to read more into it. All the angels, good or bad, have all made their choice through freewill, hence the rebellion. Makes sense doesnt it?
@@dylanmcshane9976 Not all demons are caged. Many are still roaming both the Heavens and the Earth. Also, the Nephilim didn't die and become spirits. We sleep in the grave when we pass away, so the giants would do the same. However the difference may be that Christ will not resurrect the giants when he returns to the Earth. I know what the Nephilim are, and the Bible is pretty clear that they are giants, offspring of fallen angels and humans. However I still wish for Tim and Jon to make a video about them to educate others and even possibly expand on the topic.

A king of kings is an emperor. David at one point was a king of kings, because his kingdom of isreal ruled over several other nations. The Emperor of Rome was a king of kings. King of kings like elohim is not a name but a title or classification. It is a person who rules over many other kings. The position of Jesus He is The king of kings. As in, He rules over all kings, not just a few, where someone like David and Solomon only ruled over a few kings.
It's, God of gods. If I'm not mistaken LORD of Lords should be ADONAI of Adonai.
King of kings comes from the Persian empire. That was the title of the Persian emperor king of kings. The Jews and Christian adopted it for god sometime after Cyrus let the Jews return to Israel and help rebuild the temple.

Meshiach is another word that is used for others besides Yeshua (Jesus) as well. And the word angel, does not always refer to a created being with wings, it means messenger and is used to also refer to the prophets.
You are almost right, but Messiah or Khristos in Greek (Crist) means the onointed one or chosen one instead, but you are correct in everything else

Superb animation as always! Love this subject. Perhaps because very few pastors elaborate on spiritual warfare (or maye because it's simply down right interesting). It's such a shame that this subject isn't taught much when it actually helps put a lot of confusing verses into context as well as view the Bible from a cosmic perspective. The subject of "elohim" explains why Samuel's spirit was referred by the witch from Endor as an 'elohim' because after death, Samuel is indeed a spiritual being. If you interpret every "elohim" as God (YHWH) then the Bible becomes contradictory and confusing. Excellent job. Wish it was longer and more in depth, but as an animator myself, I understand the blood and sweat to make each second. Keep up the good fight!

Back then, they were afraid to take the lords name in vain, so there were many different titles describing the same & 1 only God. Thus, all these different titles & translations. They were avoiding a sin, & showing respect.

Study our language. A “U” and a “V” where once the same letter, “W” too, as English evolved. It’s untrue to say no one knows it, and typically said for excuse.

Elohim in Hebrew is a plural word and the fascinating thing is that in Genesis 1:1 where it says God created Heaven and Earth in Hebrews is Elohim created Heaven and Earth and that Elohim is plural that means Gods but later the verb he used is 3rd person SINGULAR verb, so here we see the Holy Trinity again like we see it in Genesis 1:26 where God said: let US make man in OUR image. Here the book doesn't suggest polytheism, don't get it wrong because that wouldn't make sense as the verbs are SINGULAR! The very first book of the Bible in the first chapter in the first verse is telling us about the Holy Trinity, 1 Being 3 Persons!

I don't agree with this tbh because I study the Bible and it says Elohim created the heavens and the earth and Elohim is plural and Jesus says truly truly I say to you before Abraham was I am also the title God told Moses to call him so I would say Elohim is referring to the holy Trinity
And the translation of God's sons that would be the angels is ben which translates to sons and they're not referred to as Elohim

This video kept popping up in my recommendations and I’m glad I finally watched it. My mom has been using these terms instead of God and Jesus Christ, and I’ve been worried she pulled those names from false doctrine. Happy to know she’s still referring to God.

Elohim in Hebrew is only refered to FATHER, SON and HOLYSPIRIT. Not to every angelic beings. Please correct.

Another interesting theory by is that Elohim meant other gods, as some scholars believe Israel was originally henotheistic (that is believing that other gods exist but worshipp only one god, which for them obviously was Yahweh) but became more monotheistic over time. I am skeptical of this, though. Nevertheless, this was an interesting video.
When you read the Bible it's clear that Israel not only believed in other gods, but worshipped them too. That's why God had to keep giving them laws and prophets to tell them to stop it. What they were supposed to do (10 commandments etc) and what they actually did were completely different.

Why did Christ Jesus came and sacrificed His precious life for sinners like us?
Christ (God's Word made into flesh), came because through flesh (Adam's flesh) sin entered the world, and then because of sin death entered the whole earth. Through flesh(Jesus Christ's flesh), the earth will be saved, sin is destroyed, and the curse of death shall be broken, death and the grave shall be cast into hell.
Christ, who is God's Word made into flesh, sacrificed His life for us. He was crucified for our sins and transgressions.
Christ died, and on the third day He resurrected in the flesh, conquering death and the grave. Now, Christ is seated in Heaven, at the right hand of Power(God). Through Christ's sacrifice we gain Salvation through God's abundant mercy and grace. We are reconciled and recompensed back to God, through the shed blood of His beloved Son Christ Jesus.

Elohim... El was the chief deity in the Canaanite pantheon! A pagan people who Israyl was to go in and destroy. This makes sense, but from reading the Bible I never really understood if God was the only god or the only true God. Like do other gods actually exist? Or is the Bible simply referring the other gods and beliefs and debunking it as fakes, since only God is the one True God. Makes you wonder, but I guess we'll find out next time.

I'm no expert myself, but listening in on the podcasts that led up to the creation of this video, the word "Elohim" which Tim Mackie in the video says is the class 'Spiritual Beings' gets translated in our bibles as "god" a lot of times. It's also used to describe angels, demons, and God (Yahweh). So your confusion is really valid, but what the Bible teaches is there is One supreme God that is incomparable to any other spiritual 'god' (elohim). He alone is LORD, and He alone is creator, savior, and worthy of our worship. Hope this cleared up any questions!

Whenever the Bible talks about other gods, it's referring to false idols whom pagan nations worshiped and behind whom demonic forces stand. So the false gods are also spiritual beings, but they are inferior to God since they are also created beings who rebelled against God.
DanTheMan Oh, got you, well in a sense we will never know of the actual existence of other ‘gods’ like Baal, or the Canaanite gods referenced in the Bible, but we get the point. Spiritual beings exist, but if we elevate any of them to the status of ultimate “God” then we rob Yahweh of the glory and title that He is due. So, I guess I’m in the same boat as you brother.

i can't correct you because I don't know that word that I'm looking for, but I can point out what i recognize to be a plural noun: "elohim" is plural. So "Yahweh is the elohim of elohim" translates to "Yahweh is the gods of all gods"

Sorry I got cut off from the previous post so here is the rest of it. Genesis 11 verse 7 YHWH or Yahweh say:. Come let Us go there and confuse their language, so that they do not understand one another's speech Vs. 8 and Yahweh scattered them from there over the face of all the earth and they left off building the city vs. 9 that is why its name was called Babel because there Yahweh confused the language of all the earth and from there YHWH scattered them over the face of the earth. So YHWH says let Us. Both YHWH and YHWH Elohim are plural. So El is masculine singular, Elohim is masculine plural and Eloha is feminine singular in the case of the Ruach Hakodesh or set apart Holy Spirit, the same Spirit in Genesis Chapter One verse two. Now the Spirit of Elohim. So from the very beginning. Genesis chapter 1 verse 1. In the beginning Elohim created the heavens and the earth. Verse 2. And the Earth was without form and void and darkness covered the face of the deep And the Spirit of Elohim moved above the face of the waters.
So these two verses are saying that the Elohim created the heavens and the Earth could have been millions or billions of years ago we do not know. It just states in the beginning. Verse two says that the Earth became VOID and without form And now was covered with water. Keep reading until you get to verse 9 and you will notice that the dry land appeared after the Elohim redistributed the water. Some of the water was used to create the Seas and some of the water was used to create the atmosphere. Why did the Elohim have to do this because they destroyed the first Earth during the end of the first Earth age do to the rebellion of the Angels. It's called that katabole in the Greek. In the book of Jeremiah chapter 4:23- 28 there is a brief description of a flood ( it's not the flood of Noah where eight Souls survived on an arc), but it's a flood where there was no man. Notice vs. 23

What was neglected in this portrayal is that other "Elohim", such as angels, whenever a man (such as the apostle John in Revelation) tried to worship one of these other Elohim, that particular entity rebuked them and said not to worship them, because only one should be worshiped, that is, YHVH only.
Even Jesus, when rebuking the devil, the devil said "“if you will bow down and worship me.”
Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’
So, remember that just because angels, cherubim, etc. should appear, they are NOT to be worshiped. They are in another realm, and to us they appear worthy of worship, but they are not. Worshiping any being (or idea, or concept, or idol, or money, or drugs, or sex, etc., etc. ) except God, is a sin. In other words, put God at the top of the list and all these other things that you desire will be given to you (of course as long as they are good for you)

On the sabbath before eating, Jews have a prayer, and I don't remember all of it by heart but there's this one line that repeats itself a lot "מלך מלכי המלכים הקדוש ברוך הוא", which in English would be "The king of the kings of the kings, the holy one, blessed he", I find it very interesting that he's called the king of the kings of the kings, to me it was explained that in a kingdom you have a king that is above all of his citizens, above him there are different gods who are above him, and above them there is Elhohim who is the highest being (btw in Hebrew God is often refered to as the letter ה, might be because of the name Yahweh, but I do find it interesting that the letter ה is used in Hebrew in the start of a word as "the", so using it alone to me seems to signify the notion that God is THE, he is the most, he is the center of everything). Beautiful- Bewtiful is how the word was spelled in old English. Look on line at a copy of KJV 1711 Iesus, ie for Yah, and sus for Greek grammatical rules replacing shuah. Salvations name is Yashu’aw, in English, Joshua. Also look up David. It is Dauid.
The Tetragrammaton in the time of Sir Walter Raleigh, when bewtiful was correctly spelled, is YHWH. YAHUAH.
Apologies and forgive me Father if it is offensive to say these names but why is YHWEH considered more holy than EHYEH by Jewish people? In bibles today YHWEH is replaced with "LORD" and considered the name of God too holy to say by Jews but what about EHYEH Asher EHYEH?

Do not just get your bible knowledge from men who claim to be teachers, or claim to be annointed by the Holy Spirit! There are many false teachers in the world today! Learn from the Master himself, and he will not lead you astray! Read the scriptures for yourselves and be saved! Do not lose your soul out of ignorance!

The gospel by which we're saved. We're under Paul's ministry today. Therefore we're not under the law of the old testament. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 (KJV)1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.
And that takes us back to John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV) 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. So it's only by GRACE that we are saved not by works. Jesus did all the work and gave us GRACE (unmerited favor) as long as we have FAITH (believe) in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ for SALVATION (trust in his blood). That's the gospel. Jesus said, Ye must be born again to enter into the kingdom.(accept Jesus as your SAVIOR)
