- Avianca Business Class, real business class?
We took the flight from Madrid - Cali and back Cali - Madrid. Yes, the business seat is very comfortable and probably the main reason to book business class. But the food and service was not business class. The cabin crew were super friendly but there was no welcome drink, no champagne or aperitif, no menu to choose from and little to no choice in food or drinks. The first drink was coming together with the food. The food was what you get in economy class. In my opinion this didn't feel like a business class experience. I acknowledge Avianca is a financially-troubled airline and is currently operating in bankruptcy protection.
I am glad to see that Avianca is improving again. I will travel home over the Summer in Avianca. Thank you for the video
Let us pray that she rises again from her ashes because at the moment only the seat was worthy of business class. Long way to go!

Goodmorning Michael, we love Colombia! There will be a video but I am hopelessly behind. It was our third time in Colombia so we did a limited itinerary (only Cali and Popayan), just enjoying without a plan. Definitely go, it's a beautiful country, nice food and good coffee, warm people,... ! Hope you speak a little Spanish? Oh yes and there is also such a thing as "pico y placa" which also applies to rental cars. You are not allowed to enter certain cities on certain days (entire city and not just the city center), this is very annoying as a tourist!

Hi, did they have alcoholic drinks for free? I’ve read so bad reviews about Avianca lately. I have a flight with them in business class in December and was very worried about it
One white or red wine and Baileys for free, that's it! At least you will have a good seat to sleep!

Yes you can see the meals in the video. They were ok, not refined as you would expect in business class and the service was fast, they just came around twice.
Mask required or no?
This is more than a year ago, no mask required! But I think nowadays there are no requirements for masking on airplanes anymore.
