  • You've asked for it and the University of Trials has finally delivered.. with a little help. Oso was kind enough to offer his services to the Trials community and will be releasing a number of Ninja tutorials. The University of Trials is committed to being the source of knowledge for all things Trials and this series is a perfect fit (and Oso is a way better rider than I am).
    Looking forward to more of these videos and perhaps even learning a thing or two!

    Excellent video. Good idea for a series too. After two years those that stuck with Trials are probably eager to learn some Ninja techniques.
    Can you do a video on wall climbs at some point? They're my biggest weakness.

      I tried today and was really suprised how long i can hold the balance on the front wheel ( 30 sec +, without problems). To move while in an endo ist way harder, but i'm confident i can do it too, with a bit more practice.
      I've figured out too, how to do a reverse wheelie and within the reverse wheelie driving up on uphill slopes.
      I know i'm not basically, but when i do this i feel like a ninja (: This really motivates me to stay tuned and improve my riding skills. I've one question about a normal wheelie, cuz i don't know how to hold it and i did'nt figured myself out a way to do a long wheelie or hold an wheelie without moving. Is a tutorial for this technique planned?
      Sorry btw for my english, i'm from germany and still learning technical terms and refine my english.

    Thank GOD! looking forward to this. I think ive self taught most techniques, but i know there's still some i cant master. Not sure what to suggest, think what ive had most trouble with is wall riding up verts over distance or inc transitions, yeah that was a pain, still is...

  • @Bor-de-knor

    i often have trouble jumping into a steep climb, like an uphill part with a gap before it. I usually end up falling or losing grip at some point. Maybe just a general steep climb.

    Also, help with "Right-ing" your self from hanging forward of ledge by back wheel and how to get up walls with no room at the bottom to move backwards or forwards, like if your on a inverted L. Maybe different types of fender grabs, how to fully control them and use of the buttons in time with the triggers to throt/brake. Ex: jumping onto a near vert slope and tapping X (brake) as you land then how to feather the throt so you seem to stick to the slope like glue... thanks ;)

    I notice that your left-stick movements were taps of either full-on or full-off to balance. Is this a better way than trying to find a sweetspot like with throttle control?

    hill climbs and throttle control. please for the love of god. im sick of not being able to finish any level 2 tracks that I get 3/4 of the way through because of a straight vertical wall. also the part where you have to stick to the wall from a flat surface where you wheelie then accelerate onto the wall and throttle up it. no one seems to talk about it and would help tremendously

    • @osoguineapig1171
      @osoguineapig1171 9 лет назад

      +bballmaster1209 throttle control itself comes mostly with practice. HOWEVER, there are a lot of techniques I could talk about that can help, such as neutral leans, COM movement, and switch setups. Thanks for the suggestion!
